This is a follow up to my husband’s review after his robotic surgery last December.. 2020.. he had an infection 2 weeks after the procedure and went by ambulance back to Bronxville New York Presbyterian where Dr Benson assured him he would meet him.. he was there with a septic infection from December 20thto December 26th.. never saw him and the staff was very elusive except for the infectious control Doc.. she was awesome.. thank god. Even after all that he never took blame for the fact that he nicked my husband’s intestines.. he had a horrific year of trying to get it healed only to have one of our local wonderful doctors to respect it and now he is finally ok.. think twice.. he looks the other way and is lucky we are who we are and did not want anything except for my husband to get well

Dr. Benson is a truly gifted physician/surgeon, who displays great compassion and sensitivity to his patients. I was just recently diagnosed with Bladder Cancer - Dr. Benson took a considerable amount of time to explain things to both myself and my wife. He could not have been kinder or more caring. His Office Staff are also excellent - especially his Nurse Practioner, Kim. Rest assured, Dr. Benson and his skilled staff will take great care of you!

Excellent surgeon. He spent a significant amount of time with my wife and I explaining the procedure, statistical outcomes and potential side effects. He also has a wonderful staff, especially his nurse, Tanesha.

NASTY Doctor. Truly shocked at what horrible manners this man has. Or lack there of I should say. I cannot believe he is part of such an excellent practice with so many fabulous doctors at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Group. I highly suggest patients choose another Doctor rather than use him. I just left his office completely appalled at his behavior. He is very rude and truly unprofessional. Clearly he must be having a bad day and took it out on me!
