Summerfield Pediatric Dentistry & Oral Surgery's Online Review Report Card

I walked into the Summerfield door a wreck after my daughter sustained a traumatic injury to her mouth and front tooth. Dr. Vali greeted me with a hug, told me everything was going to be fine, and that he would take care of her. Dr. Vali performed extensive work on my daughter and guided us every step of the way to save the tooth. He checked in on us consistently during the healing process. We continue to use Summerfield as our pediatric dentistry practice and feel very fortunate to have such an experienced, skilled and caring dentist. We’ve had great experiences with all of the dental staff here.

We've been coming here for 10 years and always have a great experience but today was just exceptional. One of my children has severe anxiety and the hygienists that worked with him were so patient and understanding. He was a wreck going into the appointment and they made him feel so comfortable, as did Dr. Vali. Really just top notch care, would never go anywhere else.

Parents, please read this before taking your kids to Dr. Vali. I feel sorry for both the staff and the families dealing with Dr. Vali. In my experience, he showed very little patience with children and seemed easily frustrated. I was honestly surprised by how he interacted with both kids and parents. He was pushy about treatments and appeared more focused on charging fees upfront than on fully explaining the procedures. At times, we were charged before the work was completed, and then told we would receive "credit" for the next visit. When we asked questions or expressed concerns, he did not directly address them. Instead, he rushed through explanations and dismissed our input. As parents, we felt our opinions were not valued. We were also pressured to use laughing gas for our child when we felt it wasn't necessary. When we asked about alternative approaches, he became upset and raised his voice, insisting he would not proceed without it. Overall, the experience felt rushed, stressful, and uncomfortable. A pediatric doctor should be patient, understanding, and willing to communicate clearly with parents. Unfortunately, that was not our experience

The team at Summerfield is attentive, courteous and knowledgeable! My kids love going there and they work well with kids who are anxious about seeing a dentist!

Dr. Vali is truly incredible. From the very beginning, his knowledge and calm, confident approach made all the difference for me as a parent. He handled my child’s dental situation with such care and clarity that I felt comfortable putting my full trust in him for my child’s care and that is not something I do lightly. My child’s entire process was explained step by step by Dr. Vali and his wonderful staff, who were patient, kind, and reassuring throughout. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed, only supported. Walking out of the office, I felt genuine relief and peace of mind knowing my child was in the best possible hands. I am so grateful for Dr. Vali and his team and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any parent looking for compassionate, expert care.

My daughters have been coming to this practice for years - always a great experience with Dr Valli and all the staff - as a result, zero anxiety about dentist/orthodondist visits. Also LOVE the cool design of the space!

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I’ve heard horror stories before about the dentist. The staff were all exceptionally hospitable but whenever I heard the dentist speaking to someone it was always in a very rude and condescending tone, he seems like the kind of person that can’t control their anger. I’m aware he’s probably the boss around here but no one should be talking to their staff and patients in such a demeaning way. This is incredibly concerning considering that this is also a pediatric office.

Dr. Vali and his staff are amazing! My children actually look forward to going to the dentist every six months. In the past, my son needed a few fillings, and the entire billing process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Even years later, everything continues to be straightforward and clear. We truly appreciate the consistency and care from this office.
