doctors dont call u about your blood work. you have to go thru hoops to find out yourself how abnormal your blood work is. you call an on call dr, 8 times out of ten they don't return your call. promise to call you in the morning.... u wait forever. They don't care about you. your just a $ to them. i'm so over this place and ready to move on

Worst hospital ever my mom was at ellis 7am until 7pm and wasn't seen.She was there for 12 hrs .The did an ultrasound and put her to sit outside. 4 30 when I leave my job and went over she was sitting in the wheelchair .At 7pm I took her to the urgent care within less than an hour she was seen by a Dr and send home ..If you want to die go to ellis hospital that's where the kill you ..WORST HOSPITAL EVER 🏥

Started off with front desk having a conversation about their coworkers ( and not a good one ) then waiting and waiting it’s has been over 3 hours and still haven’t seen anyone . We are currently still waiting

Ellis Hospital is reminiscent of the same level of care I received at NY Presbyterian. Attractive, orderly, impeccably sanitary, and a welcoming staff. Nurse Suzanne White has been my Angel for the passed few months. She is the ideal template of what anyone would wish for in a nurse. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and spent more time dealing with my insurance company than most healthcare professionals would have. It’s because of her I was able to see the best surgeon I’ve ever been to-a member of the AAGL-Dr. Nicolas Montalto. His demeanor is calming, and kind. During our first appointment he thoroughly explained everything I needed to know referencing images I sent him. It felt like an anatomy lesson by an excellent professor. Dr. Montalto treated my body with the care, and respect everyone’s body deserves. It feels good in my heart knowing I can trust in a medical professionals specialized surgical work. Dr. Nicholas Montalto is also humble with regard to his surgical work. I highly recommend Dr. Nicholas Montalto, his team, and Ellis Hospital to anyone seeking the highest quality care.

Would sooner die than return to this poor excuse for a hospital. Never. Again.

Most incompetent ER i have ever seen, almost cost me my life... i had went in for pancreatitis, they gave me the wrong medical records and mixed up my records with the patient in the bed next to me, im still in grave pain and my ability to function and work are now hindered oh and lets not forget to mention i was there for 16 hours before being seen by a Dr. they had discharged me with an iv still stuck in my arm still and i had not even known about it..i was still waiting to be seen, these people should all be fired or in jail. Whoever is running the show here belongs in jail.

This hospital is an actual danger to anyone who is admitted. There is no interdepartmental communication, there is a tendency to push people out and back home when they're actually in dire need of close monitoring. The worst attribute by far is their inability to admit when they're not able to diagnose and treat an illness. Instead of making it known that they're unable to successfully treat a patient and send them to a better facility, they'll disseminate misinformation to the families and hold on to the person until the literal and painful passing of your loved one. Your insurance dollar is their priority; not you or your family. Please boycot this horrendous facility.

The wait times are ridiculously long.If you plan on coming in for a visit, be prepared for a lengthy wait. The only way you will be seen quickly, if your dying!!!

On March 27, 2021,I was taken from Nathan Littauer Hospital by ambulance to Ellis, I was having a heart attack. The entire staff, cleaning crew, CNAs, Nurses, Administrators, Doctors, Surgeons and any I may have missed were TOP-NOTCH. They kept me comfortable, informed, and most of all, saved my life.

I arrived at Ellis hospital at 8:30 pm.I didn't get my name called until 11:30pm.I finally get my xray 11:45pm.It is now 12:43p.m. no word on anything and they sat me back in the waiting room because every room was full of people that have been waiting longer than I have.People are walking out of this place as im texting this review.Im leaving too..........Go elswere you will die here....
