List of Eric R. Aronowitz's Reviews
Dr Aronowitz has treated my entire family for various sports related injuries. He has always done his best to get us in right away and and make sure tests and scans were done quickly and efficiently. You are always nervous when you get an injury and Dr. Aronowitz always made us feel that getting back to normal life and sports was always of paramount importance to him.
Dr Aronowitz is the best. No pressure for surgery and he and his staff are excellent.
Terrible! Could never tell me where my pain was coming from, performed unnecessary surgery, rude, doesn't listen. Favorite answer for is can you live with it? Had to go elsewhere for a professional opinion after going through hell with this rude, dismissive, doctor. My opinions.
I have been with him since 2005. I wouldn’t want anyone else treating my bad knee. He knows his stuff and great at what he does. You want conversation? Go to a therapist.
I will not go anywhere else. He has done several of my surgeries. Very skilled as an md and a surgeon. He has caught errors with medications prior to surgery and showed more concern that my primary. He advocated for me and even took time to come up with a treatment plan.
I had my first ACL reconstruction done by Dr. Aronowitz in 2010. I was extremely happy with how everything turned out. I had surgery the end of December and was back to soccer by July! This summer, I complained to my rheumatologist that I was having a lot of knee pain. She didn’t believe it was due to arthritis and sent me for an MRI. The doctor that read my MRI images noted that I had completely torn my ACL. Although I was upset I had to go through it again I was ready for Dr. Aronowitz to do my surgery. BUT when I went back Dr Aronowitz told me my ACL was not torn and gave me a cortisone shot to help with the pain. I was shocked and confused at this point so I ended up getting a second opinion. I’m so glad I got a second opinion because I ended needing surgery and had my second ACL reconstruction in August. I was so happy with everything the first time that I never imagined I’d have a bad experience.
Dr. Aronowitz did my shoulder, my mom’s shoulder, my boyfriend’s shoulder, and two other friends’ knees. We keep going back because he is highly skilled and cares about keeping you doing what you love.
Dr Aronowitz who a few years back had restored my knee when a former doctor of that office had told me I would just have to "live with my limitations" I had returned to the office for treatment and was scheduled to see Dr Aronowitz. He walked in, and in less than 5 min. just said, "let's fix this". Surgery was scheduled with great results and It has been several years I continue to have a stable pain free knee! Later I had a back issue that was determined to be neurological. After a second opinion from a neuro surgeon, I was to be scheduled for back surgery. I asked my primary for a referal to Dr. Aronowitz and within a brief visit he correctly provided a much different diagnosis that resulted in NO surgery and totally corrected my problem. If you are looking for warm and fuzzy, he may not fit your expectations but if you are looking for an Outstanding Orthopedic Physician, Dr. Aronowitz IS that person! I will forever be grateful for his ability.
Best Ortho doc around. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
When your times up he’s gone, in the midst of an important question he will just walk out and that’s it he’s done with you, and you don’t know what’s next. His favorite line is “can you live with it”? Obviously not if I’m there for help. He doesn’t prep before seeing you and makes mistakes because he shows no attention to the details of your problem if it’s not a simple fix. He doesn’t explain things and leaves you hanging with unanswered questions. He seems to have a good rep but my experience was he lacked attention to detail and didn’t listen to symptoms and dismissed an ongoing problem which was later confirmed by testing that I had to insist on. For simple orthopedics probably ok. My opinions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
