Dr. Somaio has built Sunnyview Rehab Hospital into a world-class acute rehab facility which serves patients from 47 NYS Counties. He is personable and actually listens to his patients. I recently spent over a week a Sunnyview followed by weeks of outpatient therapies, following my 2nd stroke in 4 years. His staff have nothing but fantastic comments about him.

Dr. Somaio had treated our son for a TBI in June of 2017. While in the hospital, Dr. Somaio was very attentive to the needs and concerns of our son and our family pertaining to his care and recovery. Dr. Somaio provided our family with as much time as we needed to ask him questions which he was very patient and thorough to answer. His follow up visits with our son have been equally as thorough and informative to understand the expectations of our sons recovery. We highly recommend Dr. Somaio
