Seth Korbin's Online Review Report Card

I had a total hip replacement in August done by Dr. Korbin. The decision to do so was made with him in a series of appointments and as my hip continued to get worse. Best thing I can say about him and his staff is that they were totally responsive to my needs and proactive in addressing anything that came up. I hope I don’t need the other hip done but if I do I will definitely use him.

Dr. Korbin was a great listener to my situation. He then made recommendations in straight, easy to understand terms.

Not easy to get a scheduled appointment, but once I got one and the day arrived, all staff were professional, patient with my questions and concerns. My condition was explained in easy to understand terms. Scheduling surgery was easy and thorough.

Thank you to Dr. Korbin and his staff at Stony Brook Orthopaedics. I had bilateral hip surgery and everything went great. And a special thanks to Kaitlyn the person behind the scenes setting everything up.

Great Doctor did a great job on my hip replacement. Very glad I choose Dr Korbin everything went as planned. My hip feels great.

I needed hip replacement and A found Dr Korbin listed under Stony brook. I had no previous experience with him and I need hip replacement so I picked him because he had some good ratings and I had a good feeling about him. Well almost 8 months post hip surgery and I’m so happy I picked him. From day one he was upfront with me with everything he did. The survey was set up quickly because he knew I was in pain. The surgery went great I can’t believe how well it went. I’m 8 months out and can hardly tell I have a new hip. He took care of me while I was recovering and set up post appointments with me and kept me well informed. He is very nice and very thorough. I highly recommend him if your in the need of a hip replacement. I just found out my other hip will also need to be replaced and I’m not nervous at all. I’m really glad I have a great doctor for my surgery. I don’t want to leave his office staff out. His office manager Jackie was great. She filled out all the paper work for my job on time and without issue which kept me recovering full pay the whole time I was out. She is very responsive and follows up and does what she says she will do. Thank you Dr Korbin and Jackie your a great Doctor and staff and I am so happy I picked you for my surgery. Dr. Korbin did a fantastic job on my hip replacement. He is very easy to talk to and explains the procedure but does not talk down to you. I never feel rushed with my appointments. I have two more procedures coming up in the future and Dr. Korbin will be my surgeon. His office assistant Jackie is extremely helpful and very nice. I highly recommend the practice.

I’m glad I chose Dr Korbin to do my knee replacement. He thoroughly explained everything, answered all my questions and put no pressure on me to do the surgery. He and everyone that works with him have been great. I had my knee replacement and it was much better than I expected. I’m having my other knee done in a few weeks. I would highly recommend Dr Korbin.

Dr. Korbin replaced my right knee 4 weeks ago. He clearly explained what was damaged in my knee and answered all my questions relative to having surgery as opposed to waiting, and just continuing in pain. There was no pressure on me to make a decision. In the end, Dr. Korbin's clear and concise description of all of the pros and cons of surgery, made my decision so much easier. In addition to phys. therapy, I've moved up to walking 3 miles every day for the last two weeks. That will increase to four miles starting next week. Every day is better than the day before. Dr. Korbin is an excellent surgeon! Add to that the surgery was performed at Stony Brook hospital. I can't think of a better combination. A five star surgeon at a five star hospital.
