I'm not sure why there are negative reviews on here because Dr Carlson is so kind and compassionate. She takes her time and shares her personal experience as well as her knowledge in her profession. I don't feel rushed and I feel cared for when I see her. She really is old school in her approach of not just sitting behind the computer screen and taking the time to talk and listen as well. I love her and am so grateful to have found such a caring physician!

I’ve been to see Dr. Carlson 4 times now and I am convinced she doesn’t hear a word I say. Not every single ailment I have is related to a former illness I had and she can’t seem to understand that. I have yet to receive any help for my ailment and finally went to city md and got it handled in one visit. I feel like what she is good at is referring you to a specialist and if you don’t need a referral, she can’t help you. She also seems very judge-y. I will need to find a new GP and that stinks. Also, the wait times are just ridiculous.

This cynthia carlson us so afraid of getting covid, that she will treat you like a Criminal for needing health care. She actually said we don't take Anyone with a fever to this office. My temperature of 98. I was Immediately tested for covid. I asked what was it I was to do instead and she said how would you feel if someone came in here like that. She sounded rediulous and unprofessional tgey to top if off she said you jnow we taje cancer paients in here. So is tgat my job to figure out who is what and what. I WAS SICK AND NEEDED CARE DONT BLAME ME FIR YOUR FErs th

Awful! She didn't listen to anything my daughter said about her symptoms and Carlson said she was confident that my daughter's LYME SYMPTOMS were from a dermatoligical condition. Even I know more about Lyme disease than she does. They took blood and never ran the correct blood tests because Carlson neglected to order them. Waste of time and money. And she overbilled by claiming the 5 minutes she spent with us was a "complex" visit.

One of long islands best! There aren’t many Dr.s left who Genuinely care about you and take the time to listen! I’ve recommended her to many people, all of whom love her!
