Lisa Rose Bevilacqua's Online Review Report Card

I had a visit with an APP at this providers facility when I moved to the area. When questioned on decisions such as bi-annual mammograms, derisive comments were provided. When asked about what I do for weight loss, the response was "how is that working out for you." Not a question. A statement. The health issues I brought up were not addressed.I made a complaint and received a reply from Dr Bevilacqua that her provider did exactly as she would have. I was told that perhaps I was not a good fit and should seek care elsewhere. I commend her for reaching out quickly, but not for how she handled patient concerns.Disrespectful treatment and medical fat shaming is stressful and can cause us to delay health care seeking or avoid interacting with providers. I understand this ignorance on a majority providers parts and have sought a provider that addresses my actual issues and not my body size. This was in 2018, it took this long because how I allowed them to make me feel.They get three stars because I have two family members who go to this practice and very much like their individual providers who address their health issues. They, fortunately, are of average size.

Dr. Lisa Bevilacqua is the best. She is our family’s primary care physician for over 13 years. She is very knowledgeable and very professional. She is such a wonderful doctor who is always listening to her patients and treats them with respect and care.

Dr. Bevilacqua has always been willing to talk through things with me and doesn’t brush them off. That’s rare to find these days.

Dr. Bevilacqua is kind and doesn’t make you feel rushed. Having worked in very similar medical practices I have a really high standard of care and she meets it.

Terrible. Do not recommend.

Dr. Lisa is great, when you actually get to see her. The front staff is the worst, they almost never connect you with a nurse when you ask. Dr. Lisa has been my doctor for over 20 years and the front desk staff continually tries scheduling me with other physicians, and after you see a certain physician enough times (even when you ask to be scheduled with Lisa) they will change your provider within the practice! and then claim that Lisa won't take on any new patients, 20 years is not new!

Dr. Bevilacqua takes the time with her patients. She seems like she really cares and listens to what her patients tell her. She pays attention and educates then ensures her patients understand their illness and/or disease process. Dr. Bevilacqua is not judgmental toward her patients.
