Dr Pokabla is amazing! I have a very high prescription and an unusual condition which requires knowledge and skill. His attention throughout my process and surgery was such that I am healing well. I have better eyesight than I have ever had in my life. I will likely need corrective lenses but I can wake up and see my alarm clock without lenses. That is a miracle! Having a reciprocal relationship with medical professionals is paramount for me. I need to be heard, responded to thoughtfully and know my concerns are addressed. Dr. Pokabla is compassionate and attentive. He addresses you directly. I always feel special and heard and he demonstrates care. My vision is valuable and I will not trust just anyone - I want the best and Dr Pokabla is a giant amongst medical professionals. I wish all doctors had his mindset for excellence. This kindness is evident in staff as well. Stellar care by all. The staff is part of the success of this practice. Efficient and caring.

Need a great eye Doctor? Dr Pokabla is that man ! Very thorough and professional yet kind and personable! Never rushes you and answers all your concerns and questions! But some of the unsung hero’s are the staff , from front desk to assistant’s , they are all so helpful and great at what they do ! The office is very busy but that means they are VERY GOOD! Dr. Pokabla performed a right eye cataract surgery on my mother in 2017. It went terribly wrong, as starbursts and a horizontal line through the field of vision are now permanent. Another eye doctor confirmed a fold present after the procedure and Dr. Pokabla denied it. He was taken back by the questioning, was not empathetic, and admitted no fault. At all odds avoid this doctor at all costs. trust me

I had an appointment today for a final checkup post surgery to remove cataracts and implant new lenses. My vision is almost perfect, and I no longer need corrective glasses for distance. I do need corrective glasses for reading and any fine detail work. Dr. Pokabla has been wonderful through the two surgeries and has wonderful supporting staff.
