I’ve been taking my husband to Dr Martin for over 4 years now. I can honestly say he’s the BEST! As long as you heed his advice and follow his instructions and attend follow up appointments, a lot of misery can be avoided. He explained everything clearly and between him and myself we saved my husbands toes from amputation. I’d consider this man not only a doctor but a friend. Thank you doctor Martin. We’re forever in your debt.

Dr. Martin is the best surgeon I have ever had an experience with. I went to the Stony Brook ER with an inch long piece of metal buried in my foot. It was so deep 2 different doctors refused to even touch it. However, Dr Martin took a look, explained the exact procedure, how long I would be in the hospital, the amount of pain I could expect and any other question I had with 100% accuracy on all of his answers. Highly recommend him to anyone who has any kind of bad foot injury or infection.

Excellent experience! Professional, kind, informative. I left prepared for my surgery with no question unanswered! The day of surgery I was comfortable and had no concerns because there was no question about the competence of my surgeon. I've had friends of various ages that have had similar surgery elswhere and have not had the results I've had I'm sorry to say. Need a surgery on my other foot, different surgery altogether but refuse to let anyone other than Dr. MARTIN treat me!!! By far the best!

Dr. Martin is a remarkable person. I met him at the Stony Brook Hospital ER when I was brought in with a severe foot infection. He told me exactly what was wrong and that I needed an amputation. I was terrified! He explained what he was going to do and what I could expect. After talking with him and realizing I was dying, I had the surgery. He checked on me every day for the three weeks of my hospitalization and continued my recovery with appointments every week. I never met anyone who was so attentive and caring as he is. I am so blessed to have him as my surgeon and my doctor. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. He is not only such a caring and gentle person but he is also a doctor who has a heart and genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr. Martin is the best! I knew immediately he could help me. I had surgery this year and Dr. Martin was a phenomenal surgeon! He spends a great deal of time with me during every single visit. He truly knows me as a person and has always taken time to answer my questions. Joyce, his receptionist, is amazing! She truly knows her stuff and is so wonderful to deal with. This is truly a place where the staff know you as a person and by name. I always feel welcome the second I walk through the door.

Dr. Martin is my favorite doctor! Right from the start, I knew he would be able to help me. I met with him first 2 1/2 years ago to discuss treatment of my bunions. He suggested surgery but didn't push the issue. He talked about some alternatives to try first and told me to think about treatment options. I then had a second opinion a year later. That doctor confirmed what Dr. Martin suggested but also noted I was going to need crutches, whereas Dr. Martin talked about a surgical shoe that would eliminate my need of crutches. I finally decided to address the issue in Nov. 2015, after having excruciating pain for months. We talked about surgery and Dr. Martin suggested I bring my husband in to meet with him to discuss post surgical care. I had surgery in January 2016. Dr. Martin was a phenomenal surgeon! He spends a great deal of time with me during every single visit. He truly knows me as a person and has always taken time to answer my questions. Joyce, his receptionist, is amazing! She truly knows her stuff and is so wonderful to deal with. This is truly a place where the staff know you as a person and by name. I always feel welcome the second I walk through the door.
