I went to Dr. Fastenberg for the first time. I did not care for him at all. He just struck me as very phony. He did a small in office. procedure. He never had me sign a consent. He never told me the aftercare instructions. I had to ask the assistant what to do after he left. No take home instructions. Just didn’t like him. Wouldn’t recommend.

I am Extremely Upset with the lack of Service when I called into the office 3 TIMES. The 1st. Time I was on HOLD for 12 mins. Then someone picked up, and HUNG UP!!! THEN I called a 2nd time an was on hold 25mins only to have someone pick up again and then HUNG UP AGAIN. SO I called a 3rd time and waited 15 mins,and Finally Julia picked up. It took her all of 30 seconds to book an appt. For next week. Then she asked me to stay on the line for a quick survey. Then SHE HUNG UP ON ME INSTEAD OF SWITCHING ME TO THE SURVEY!!! I can not believe that someone other then a mousey monotone voice like hers is the best this office has to offer patients !!! What a waste of my time much less my blood pressure being raised just to make a DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT!! I will be sure to speak with Dr.Fassenburg.

Dr Fastenberg is the man. Super friendly and likable guy who’s very knowlegable and has helped me with a number of things. His office is also very clean and nice, and the entire staff are very friendly and professional.

Great great Doctor... but good luck trying to get through to the office to speak to someone at the office if you need help with urgent matter. Literally spent 90 minutes calling and pressing every prompt to no avail. they have a call center that handles all their calls but only for scheduling appointments they cannot help you if you have a real problem or you are trying to contact the doctor. Cannot call office directly and get a live person

Love Dr Fastenberg!!! He's he nicest and so thorough. He is worth the wait!! I've always had psoriasis since I was 13 and went to numerous dermatologists in the smithtown area some were ok some not ok. I now live in merrick and I will only go to dr fastenberg and have seen him for the past 8 years. When I didn't have insurance he was kind enough to hook me up with samples and always a wealth of information on any new medicines that might help. I recommend him to all my friends and family!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Fastenberg. He was friendly, thorough and attentive to my questions and concerns. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. A week after a biopsy, he called me to make sure everything was okay. Will definitely be seeing this doctor again.
