Zvi Alpern's Online Review Report Card

Great experience from initial office consult to procedure itself, everyone was great, constantly asking if I'm comfortable while waiting to enter the procedure room. Everyone involved going over the details and what I'm to expect.

If I could give no stars I would. Waited over an hour for my husband’s first visit. Then for his colonoscopy was booked for 1:45 in the afternoon we were told they had plumbing issues so wait and they will call with update, they called saying they were on time. Get to the office at 1 for 1:45 procedure. Mind you it is a 45 minute ride for us. Waiting and around 2:30 taken in a room then the staff tells my husband it will be another hour to hour and a half! Is my husband’s time not as valuable as the doctor’s? Why call us and tell us things were running on time? Just waiting and waiting is totally disrespectful to his patients!! Avoid this doctor!!!!!

My husband went for a colonoscopy and after the prep he waited over an hour at the office then was told he may be an additional hour wait. Especially after he was called and was told “running on time”. This doctor doesn’t take his patients time into consideration. We understand things happen but my husband’s first visit was also very late but I guess we made the mistake of trying him again. Will nit be going back there.

Have seen Doc Alpern for nearly 15 years for routine checks and gastro concerns. His "bedside manner" is terrific. He projects a calm reassurance for what can be sometimes considered a unpleasant experience (colonoscopy) Office staff is efficient and courteous. I highly recommend him.

I have been using Dr. Alpern for over 20 years now, being what they call a frequent traveler, every 3 to 5 years and found him excellent. I feel nothing, and almost enjoy the slumber he puts me under. The worst thing about this procedure is fasting for a day and drinking the prep liquid but the health factor is well worth it.

After many years of search for the local Gastroenterology doctor In found and been accepted by Dr. Zvi Alpern which provides me with the best medical treatment, professional attitude and excellent treatment results. I can't be happier with Dr. Alpern's service. Thank you Doctor. Highly recommending.

1 STAR IS TO MUCH!!!!! AVOID THIS DOCTOR ZVI ALPERN AT ALL COST !!! DOES NOT LISTEN OR COMPREHEND WHAT PATIENT SAY ABOUT MEDICAL HISTORY, WILL DELAY, AND CAUSE YOU ADDITIONAL PAIN AND MEDICAL COST. THEN TELL YOU TO FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. SAD THING HE WORKS OUT OF ST. CATHERINE HOSPITAL AND REPRESENT THEM.AND GIVES THEM A BAD NAME. AVOID HIM AT ALL COST!!!!
