Excellent Dr. very thorough and communicates with the patient better than any Dr I’ve ever had. He gives you his finding and unlike other drs who continue to use fancy words and descriptive, Dr Szema breaks down every condition and diagnosis for the layman to easily understand. I wish every Dr was as thorough, knowledgeable and caring as Dr Szema

I was so impressed, with his understanding what I was trying to tell him and his abilitiy to help me understand what was going on with me. I loved he gave me written instructions...after 30 years of suffering with this, I think he may be who is going to finally put a handle on this. I didn’t feel like...ok here is a prescripton, pay at the front desk on your way out. He took his time and did the tests needed to get a good idea where I was at and what I need. I’m excited.

Dr. Szema saved my life. I was suffering from chronic sinusitis and severe asthma after returning from Iraq. I saw a legion of doctors over a 12 year period that did nothing but shrug their shoulders at me and I continued to deteriorate. Dr. Szema is the only doctor that recognized what was happening to me and treated me properly.

Dr. Szema is a gifted, caring doctor and an exceptional diagnostician. It is rare to find a doctor who is so engaged, helpful and genuinely concerned about his patient's welfare. After numerous bouts with respiratory illness, wheezing, allergic reactions, and repeated sinus infections, I was able to find a place where my health concerns were assessed accurately and my health problems solved. He always takes the time to fully answer my questions and explain my future health plan. He is AMAZING!

Dr. Szema was very thorough during my visit. He didn't rush me and made sure to ask many questions to decide the direction to take in my care. His suggestions were well taken and we felt very comfortable with him.

Would highly recommend Dr. Szema. Had two recent encounters. He takes the time to explain problems, although some of the language was way over my head with medical lingo Theoffice is run by very eager and respectful med students and trainees who try very hard to make sure everything is run smoothly. His diagnosis was accurate and he took the time to think out of the box. Some follow up remains, and I am optimistic it will continue to be a good experience.

Last November I started to see Dr Szema for difficulty breathing. I had a respiratory tract infection in September and it lingered well through November. I was concerned that if I became infected with the flu or any other respiratory tract infection that it might become life threatening. He was very knowledeable and genuinely concerned for my well being. His staff was extremely professional, welcoming, and accommodating. It is reassuring that Dr Szema is a pulmonologist (lung specialist) and allergist. With his dual specialty it made perfect sense that he would be the one to solve my respiratory problems. I learned that I have asthma and again through his treatment my condition has greatly improved. I have referred him to anyone who has allergies any respiratory problems. Now that I have asthma, I will never take breathing for granted again.

Utilizing his extensive experience and credentials (certified in 4 areas), Dr. Szema was able to diagnose a condition that had eluded other doctors for a decade. As a result my symptoms are finally understood and under control. The office staff are competent and cordial, and they always greet patients by name and with a smile. Highly recommended.
