George Dempsey's Online Review Report Card

Lucky to have such an innovative and comprehensive doctor in East Hampton. He has a regular clinic, a walk-in and has opened a very good urgent care facility. I recently requested to see a woman doctor for a problem. Really liked her. She listened, took time and solved my problem with the right medication. I like that he has a couple of different doctors working at his practice, always. And there’s Bonnie the head nurse — she is the greatest. When a refill or questions about a medication is needed she’s there with an easy phone call. She recently advocated for me, for a prescription I needed not covered by my insurance and succeeded in getting it for me, saving me alot of money. There are also interns from Stony Brook who take your vitals and go through your list of medications and health issues, leaving no stone unturned. I have been going to Dr Dempsey’s office for at least 12 years now. I’m extremely grateful for his care.

a horrible experience my dad had cocid and it took them an hour to attend to him, they forgot that he was there, they didn't even check him he was wasting time they are lousy attending patients they let them die I don't recommend them they had to get a vaccine and they made him wait an hour to tell him to go and look for it in cvs

Don’t use this office unless you want to return for tests and bloodwork. They lost both of mine within the same week and I had to return to have them repeated. Very unfriendly and disorganized practice. Beware of this office

I’ve been calling for 3 days to try make an appointment and I just keep getting put on hold or told to leave a message to never get a call back don’t waste your time

Very thoughtful staff and the doctor is very personable. Went for PCR testing. Results in 24 hours. Only location in my area of the hamptons to have the results so quickly.

Office lost my ekg and I was almost unable to get an important surgery done. They also lost my bloodwork and read my bloodwork to me from three years prior telling me I most likely have kidney stones- all in the same week. Doctor kolsin is the opposite of what you would look for in a healthcare provider he's incompetent overweight and has body odor. I wouldn't recommend this office for anything. They are disorganized and dysfunctional and don't take responsibility when they mess up the staff is smug and acts like they did nothing wrong. Very unapologetic and unprofessional.

I am so grateful that I saw Dr Dempsey a few weeks ago - he correctly identified that I had an emergency eye condition that could have left me blind if untreated. It was a holiday weekend with no chance of seeing an ophthalmologist for a few days - he prescribed the medication I needed to clear the virus and thanks to him my sight was saved. I subsequently saw an ophthalmologist who confirmed I should continue with Dr Dempsey's treatment plan and the seriousness of the condition had it been untreated. Dr Dempsey was charming and caring throughout and went above and beyond in trying to get an ophthalmologist to see me the same day. He followed up too after the holiday and I got the impression he really cared. Thank you very much Dr Dempsey!

Avoid at all costs. Totally unprofessional. Dempsey staffs his office with medical students who do the brunt of the patient interfacing. The one doctor I saw looked like she rolled out of bed, dressed in sweats, hair falling out of her ponytail, wrinkled white coat. She was MIA for my Zoom followup, and I was called three hours after her no-show to make another appointment. We are finding another PCP.

Dr Dempsey is a wonderful doctor, caring, extremely knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor! His staff is wonderful as well. I am so glad he accepted me as a new patient in the middle of the Covid pandemic!

Dr. Dempsey is the best doctor we've ever had. He's caring and conscientious. We trust him with our lives. We also love the staff.
