The only saving Grace about this place was the office staff. Dr Keckeisen has no bedside manner and is completely rude. I came to him because I switched insurances in between vascular procedures ( my left leg was treated, right leg awaiting treatment) and was unable to continue at my previous doctor. When I came to Dr K, he barely assessed me visually and told me what he doubted he could do anything because he didn’t see any varicose veins. At my other doctor, my consult involved sonograms and measurements of veins and a detailed description of options. Dr K brushed me off. It was so uncomfortable I waited a month, switched back to my old insurance and had my second leg treated.

Dr Keckeisen and his OR staff were great! It's great to see smiling faces when heading to the OR room. They made me feel comfortable and positive! The sleeping cocktails(anesthesia)were great! Cheers! My surgery went as planned and Dr Keckeisen spoke to my husband afterwards and gave him a complete update! The staff was very professional and kept me updated with my delays. They also kept my husband updated as I didn't have my cell phone. They even asked what time my pharmacy was open and made arrangements with my husband to pick up my scripts before they closed! Totally on point!!! My surgery was postponed but due to circumstances beyond thier control. Those darn emergencies! I'm just grateful that my scheduled surgery was not that emergency! And the person that came in the ER was going to be ok due to the OR staff! Thank you Dr Keckeisen and your professional staff!!!

Dr. K. literally saved my life about 20 years ago. He is skilled, compassionate and able to explain complex medical scenarios in plain language. I cannot imagine having the skill, nor the courage, to do what he does every day!

CABEAT that Dr. K is my colleague, but I had an emergent hernia surgery, followed by an elective one. I am friends with dozens of surgeons, and I chose him for his skill, technique, and most of all his unhurried and compassionate manner.

Dr. Keckeisen repaired an umbilical hernia while I was 4 1/2 months pregnant. He had a great bedside manner and made certain I was taken care of while in hospital. He was terrific for my follow up visits as well.
