List of Paul D Garson's Reviews
Dr. Garson is the absolute worst doctor I have ever encountered at Southampton hospital. Not only did he speak down to me like a child, but walked out and left my hospital room laughing as I proceeded to explain my eating disorder to him. He noted he had seen a couple of cases like mine in his 49 years of practice. He had me on a 1 to 1 because of my disorder despite not having the qualifications to treat my disorder. He also wouldn’t let me leave the hospital even after my electrolytes became normal. He is an egotistical, pretentious doctor. Please do not see him unless you want to be belittled. Dr. Garson is absolutely terrible.
Kind, considerate, smart.
Does not listen to the patient. Falls asleep during office visits. Schedules appointments and does not show up. Does not prescribe sufficient doses of medication to last until the next monthly visit (a daily medication should last 30 days until the next monthly appointment). Sends Rx to the wrong pharmacy. Experiments with medication that the patient has clearly stated to have had an adverse reaction to in the past. Spends less than 5 minutes with the patient.Seeking alternative care provider.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
