I was a bit young and green when I saw this doctor, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. He had the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a doctor. Definitely knows what he’s doing, but that probably means he knows better than to treat people badly and does it anyway.

Dr. D. has been my primary physician for a number of years. I call him my 'go to for everything' doctor. He listens, does not take the hurried or one for all approach. He is conservative with his recommendations and is well versed in therapies other than those requiring a prescription pad. His aim is to keep his patients well; therefore not always needing pharmaceutical intervention. The 1 hour spend driving to and from his office is worth every mile. I can't recommend him highly enough if you are interested in being well and staying well.

Dr. della Pietra is the best. I highly recommend him. I found Dr. della Pietra several years ago when no one was able to help me with a serious illness with lyme. Other doctors told me there was nothing more they could do. Dr. della Pietra helped to put me on a path to recovery and ever since that time, he has been my primary doctor. He always takes his time with patients, and as I've said before to many people: He is one of the best reasons to stay in NY!

I worked with Dr DellaPietra for several years in a general Family Practice clinic in O'Fallon,IL. Great guy..excellent practioner and both the patients and the staff loved him and we all enjoyed working with him.! Because of his healthy and holistic focus, I stopped drinking soda (diet and regular) quite a few years ago and have never regretted it. Thanks, Dr. Della!

I needed to know what the problem was for him to resubmit new coding for a special blood test he prescribed, that I got charged for because he initially coded it as routine. Office assistant was harsh with me. When Dr. D. finally called me back, he got angry about dealing with Medicare and hung up on me 2 days ago. Today, I got a letter from him, requesting I find a new physician. Instead of explaining something to me like a professional, I received this low class reaction, a hang-up call, and him ending our therapeutic relationship (as he stated in his letter).
