Believe it or not, I went to this woman back in 2017 in regards to a thyroid issue I was concerned with. When I asked her if my IUD birth control would have anything to do with it she kept saying “I don’t believe in birth control.” And wouldn’t answer my question. When I told her I needed my IUD for medical reasons then she gave me an answer. To this day I remember how awful this woman was to me and wish I would’ve reported her at the time. I hope she loses her license one day whether she believes in birth control or not her priority should be the patient’s concern not her beliefs.

Very pleased again. I had a bad case of Covid so we had a teleconference which I was very pleased with. Dr. Hanna was very thorough and spent a great deal of time with me asking many questions and offering suggestions and she also told me how to best care for myself. I have total confidence in Dr. Hanna, she really listens n cares, unlike other doctors I went to in the past. A+

This is my first time visiting Dr Hanna in the Staten Island office. So given the COVID-19 issue, getting my medication has been a horrible experience. I like the Dr herself, but her staff does not listen. I called the office several times to ask for a brand name medication that I have been on for years. MD recommend a dose change, which I’m cool with, but it is for the generic brand. I was told when I started that if you start with one brand then you are to continue with that brand. I told her office staff this and the answering service. I go to the pharmacy and it is was still the generic brand. The office staff must have been on her lunch break bc she was chewing and smacking in my ear and rushing me to get off the phone. I’m telling her that I need the prescription for the brand name and not generic. The office staff NEED to listen and stop trying to rush and rule calls. Thank you Claudia for not taking the time to listen and screwing up my medication at the pharmacy because you wouldn’t and didn’t take the time to listen. Thanks! Thanks a lot!!!

She was the only doctor on the island who helped my fiancé with his a1c. He went from 10.8 to 7 in 3 months and we’re hoping it will be even lower when he goes back for his next appointment.

Extremely Long wait times(you wait in General waiting room for 1-2 hours , then escorted to a hallway outside her office where you wait another 15-20 minutes) the staff is disorganized. Loses paperwork, Loses Fax paperwork and your blood results, Rarely answers the phone , never returns a call from your voice mail message... After all that waiting, Dr. Hanna spends about 5-10 minutes with you to review test results without explaining anything in full understandable terms

She is not a doctor. She should not be practicing. She is ignorant and would not answer my questions. She is lazy and has a nasty attitude, perhaps to cover for her lack of knowledge. She hurried me out so as not to keep other patients waiting, yet kept me waiting long while she socialized with her friends. She even charged me $1 for a copy of my blood test do I can take it elsewhere to get a proper interpretation. I never seen this before with any other doctor.

I was the first appointment and she was still late. When she finally showed me into the office, she was so rude. Her nurse and receptionist was also rude. I asked for prescription that was never followed up on for weeks. Her office is impossible to reach. Don't go here. The people in this office don't care about patient care.

Please, save your save some time and look for another doctor! this lady is clueless! God! how do they even graduate? what a waste of time. Even after have given her a second chance, she still doesnt know anything about endocrinology.
