At first I thought Dr. Giterman was great, Very personable and easy to talk with. However after a serious misdiagnoses that sent me to the hospital and nursing home for four months I realized that he really does not care. He never bothered to follow up to find out why I disappeared.

Dr. Giterman is a great doctor and a wonderful person. He’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. He is a PCP of my entire family. He always goes above and beyond to help us. We can always reach him when we need his help and he’s always glad to help us. He is the best! I recommend him highly to everyone.

He refused to put my father, who is suffering from Lewy Body Dementia on Hospice because Gitterman said “he did not need it” in mid January 2020 and it is now mid February 2020 and he has been on hospice for 2 weeks - despite Gitterman’s medical notes claiming he did not need hospice and only because my father’s neurologist sent the real diagnosis and prognosis and my father was accepted in 3 days. Gitterman misdiagnosed my father for 5 years with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s and wrongly medicated him for all those years. He is a disgrace of a doctor and an arrogant man who refuses to look past his own diagnosis and at the facts.

I love him! He's like an old friend that deeply cares about your mental well-being and knows all about your health and genuinely wants you to live for as long as you possibly can. He's just a great Doctor!!!
