Dr. Emmer has been my primary MD for years. He is a great Physician and always makes time for his pts. I can rely on him at anytime even if it's just to ask a question or just get some information on my care. I highly recommend him.

Honestly, I had low expectations going into this given the reviews. The office could be in better shape and it looks like a place where people who have medicaid go because other places turn them away. However, the doctor was attentive and the staff was very communicative. It was easy to make appointments and did not take months to see the doctor. It was nice to see a doctor and have them actually listen to your concerns, providing referrals as needed. Thank you.

Dr. Emmer is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer questions. Bloodwork, flu shots and EKGs are done right at the office. Patients can access test results online or leave a message with Dr. Emmer and he will get back to you quickly. You can also schedule appointments online.

He is such a caring professional and wonderful human being!!! He actually listens to his patients and cares about his patients needs in order to stay well!!!

My mom has been using Dr Emmer for years now, he is a god send. my mother was extremely ill with covid in dec 2020, Dr Emmer went out of his way, he referred me to northwell health crown program, which was the best. he continued to call her every day to check on her even on Christmas and New Year. He is my go to Dr. returns all my email concerns. Can't thank him enough. Staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Dr. Emmer is the best dr. On Staten Island. He is part of Victory internal medicine. I wasn't feeling well. I thought it was because of my cholesterol medication I just started. He gave me a blood test because he didn't think it was the cause. He was right. I had a virus. I truly believe any other dr would have changed my medication. The medication is working for me and I have healed from my virus. This is not the first time he was right on target with his diagnosis. My whole family uses him and will continue to do so.

Doesn't answer the phone. No reason I should be on hold for an hour. You are NOT that busy

If I could possibly give a lower rating I would. The staff is absolutely terrified of any and all patient interaction and is stuck in some Covid vacuum. I had TWO proven negative tests within 24 hours of asking to see the doctor and the RUDE staff refused to even do a blood pressure and pre-evaluation. Spent 2 days in the ER with a "Fever of unknown origin" as the hospital put it and requested I follow up with my Primary. They refused, causing me to go back to ER... Simple Blood tests..... There other illnesses out there, YOU ARE A DOCTORS OFFICE!!! I think your staff needs to find other work that would be considered safe for them. The service was non existent and downright rude. I am appalled at what I saw. I never really needed a Dr before and hope I never need them again. Disgusting..... You know where to find me if you could even pick up a phone, which they do not for at least two days of calling. Not one single call back.... NOTHING.... Needless to say, I will look for a new PCP!!!

I never even went to the office itself but whoever is answer the phone, the women is rude and just a mean person. Dr. Emmer should fire her
