Thankfully we didn't wait long, but even still the visit was shorter than the wait. He basically walked in and gave us a speech he rehearsed a thousand times without pausing, barely letting us get a word in. He doesn't even do the procedure himself, just sends you back to the hospital and then expects you to come to him again for results because that's they business model that's most profitable for Northwell and least convenient for patients. He's not rude, but he has no bedside manner. Even the receptionist seems detached and 'above-it-all.' Just go to an adult specialist. It's only a one year fellowship for pediatrics, maybe the generalist will be more personable.

Arrogant. Rude. Unprofessional. Terrible PersonI've worked side-by-side with Surgeons every day for the last 15 years and this was, by far, the worst and scariest experience I've ever had with a doctor.My newborn went to Dr H for a simple office procedure. An hour after we were sent home we had to rush to the baby to the emergency room due to uncontrollable bleeding. They immediately took the baby into the operating room for emergency surgery with general anesthesia and need to use multiple stitches to stop the severe bleeding. They required the newborn to stay overnight and then home care continued for several weeks.Not only was Dr H not apologetic in any way, he was rude and downright aggressive toward me and my wife when we asked for a simple explanation as to what happened. I've spent my entire career working with Surgeons and this guy is easily the biggest jerk I've ever met.Please do yourself and your children a favor and find another pediatric urologist. The way this Doctor treated me and my family was nothing short of disgraceful.
