They Charged me $1668.50 for the COVID-19 test for my 3 years old daughter after waiting more than 3 hours on the lobby for the booked appointment.I visited there on Nov 28, 2021 and had an appointment for my daughter at 4.00 pm ,wait time was more than 3 hours. After having hard times finally we met the doctor at around 7.00 pm and he did the Covid test for my daughter (in my previous visits on on October 13th and November 12th also did the Covid test as usual but amount was $380)But after horrible waiting experience got the horrible surprising bill from the doctor.I cannot give 1 star since my previous visits was good with other two doctors in this location(specially the lady doctor was so kind).
Wasted half hour of my time plus getting my sick son out of the house for nothing, website says walk ins only, calling is not even an option, upon arrival I’m told no walk ins…
I went with my 5 month old to this PM Pediatrics because the ones in NJ all closed at 10pm. When we got there they refused to see my son because they had stopped taking "walk ins" i got there at 11pm and they close at 12am. The girl in the front referred me the the ER. If i would of known this from the start i would not have paid the tolls and just had gone to the ER in NJ close to my house. All i needed was a respiratory check on my baby. Nothing major. But thanks PM Pediatrics for refusing to see my 5 month old baby. You're amazing.
Office hours are not correct they closed at 10 PM on Google listing it's showing closing time 12 AM.
Booked COVID test online. When we got there, they forced everyone to get a virtual visit with a doctor before COVID test, which in the end wasn't needed.
I brought my daughter in around 4 times in the last 8 months. The wait time’s been horrible every single visit, over an hour and a half and even 2 hours. They haven’t had more than one doctor on duty ever since our first visit. Clearly there’s a medical staff shortage and it’s very frustrating waiting with a sick kid for that long. The care you get after waiting for so long is decent but it’s still a nightmare waiting to be seen.
Love coming to this office! It is super convenient to not have to go to the emergency room for fast prescriptions or test. It is hit or miss wether u wait 5 minutes or 2 hrs. Understandably so, during times of covid and being short staffed everywhere, and its the ONLY pediatric urgent care on staten island. Still waaay better then er, when my own pediatrician won't even see my sick children! Now they offer PMPA, a VIRTUAL office visit!!! If u need testing they send u to office and u are pulled right in ahead of line, get test done, then leave! The nurse is fantastic and gentle with my children. Doctors are thorough and results are fast and office is beautiful and clean!Greatful for this location 🙏Call ahead if u need xray, as they are not always staffed.
We came in and were sent home after waiting an hour or so with no Covid he can go back to school today. He became worse hour by hour. Having to stay home and go again to another Doctor today. His coughing was horrific today and he has been sleeping on and off all day.My son has a very active day. He is a hockey player, practicing 3/4 nights a week. He too has 2 games a weekend.I want to note that we did not come in questioning if our son was sick b/c he didn’t have a fever. We came in to rule out viruses.Just because a child doesn’t have fever or Covid does not imply a child is not sick.He should have immediately been checked for the flu and wasn’t. Very surprised at doctors incorrect diagnosis.Really schooled over this.
Hit or Major Miss Depending on the "Single" Doctor there -- there is only always one, so pack plenty of patience (and bottles and snacks) regarding wait times. If you MUST go here, on any given day/time depending on the staff present, there may or may not be a nurse, may or may not be an X Ray tech, and it is not a given your child can get a proper urine culture... so do not make any assumptions you will receive the care you are seeking. Biggest and Best Advice to you, call before you go. If Dr. Patel or Dr. Rimareva are there, consider yourself lucky. Two of the most thorough, knowledgeable and caring doctors. Both of these doctors saved my baby a hospital visit. If Dr. Coleman is there, please don't waste your time or your money. He is extremely rude, poor/no bedside manner and will remind you that he has a license to protect, so forget receiving any kind of care or any treatment. He may even raise his voice to you. A person like this who is not willing to listen or care should find employment in some other profession, maybe as a debt collector.
Profoundly terrible experience and we will never be back. We were a walk in and we’re informed by an extremely snotty admin that the wait was at least 90mins, and I appreciate level setting expectations but the wait was 2hours to be seen and that’s not at all “prompt care”.They have no sense urgency and the medical team is super rude.I should have read the reviews before we came here, because waiting for two hours w a toddler is not reasonable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
