Horrible honestly the scribe asked me 2 questions after me waiting in the exam room for already 20 min and now the provider still hasn’t seen me yet. Horrible and I honestly recommend you commute to another city MD.
Terrible unoreen.ganized and had to come back 3 times before being seen each time walking .. Me and my wifr will pass on this place
Amazing care and beautiful hospitality
A had wonderful experience and facilities!!!
Hey all I just wanted to share my experience of CityMd with you, So I was Covid Positive and needed a Chest X-Ray to be sure I didn't have phenomena and was turned away from 5 radiology places and 2 urgent cares just b/c I was Positive and no one wanted me in there place I truly felt like a "Lepper" than I called CityMd and without hesitation they told me to come in and I was seen within 10 minutes the staff was friendly and kind, the office technology was awesome and efficient, The ONLY thing that I didn't like was the fact they tried to charge me a $25.00 Copay when I don't even have a copay and I was told that being it was an "Ugent Care" center its different??? I explained that I have been to many "Ugent Care" centers before and was never told that anyway they waived the fee as a 1 time courtesy. So that was my experience
The doctor and medical assistant was very professional and helpful!
The staff is so friendly and super helpful, I prefer to go to CityMD if possible
Here for my COVID testing. And management here is the worse. The let patients/customers play loud music and hold loud conversations on theirs phones. No one not even their security walked over to them to go out side or use headphones or plain and simple to take that damn call off of their speaker.Other reason why I cant nor want to deal with civilians.I want to throat punch this dude & his girl for having 2 different calls for everyone to hear.
Worth the read if you care about your or a loved ones quality of care!!! I have been here twice and each time I wish I could rate this ZERO STARS and not even give this establishment the satisfaction of one star. The people operating this facility are amongst the rudest, most condescending and unprofessional healthcare workers. Its hard to view them as that because of their lack of qualities true hardworking and compassionate healthcare workers possess. Our first experience at this establishment was horrible but this time was worse. First experience the doctor didnt even want to be bothered listening to symptoms. We waited on the line to be seen twice each time being over an hour & a half. Additionally, I was with my grandmother (age 70) both times as well. Im more than understanding of the wait time considering the surge of cases in S.I. Theres only so much that can be done with such limitation. However, as my grandmother and I were just approaching the front of the line, a woman came from the parking lot, cut ahead of 12+ people, stated that she had called ahead and they told her cut because she had a fever. The people waiting on line were aggravated, rightfully so, and told her where the back of the line was. The woman went back in her car, called again and the security guard opened the door, allowed her inside the establishment within seconds. The reason for my review is not to complain about a line cutter. The issue is: It was not her fault, it was the establishments!! It gets better..Finally, we were able to check in at 9:15am after getting there prior to opening (7am). Two EMT workers enter as were checking in and asked that they be seen sooner than other patients considering their line of duty. Citymd denied them and proceeded to inform them they do not have priority patients regardless of who they are. These professionals consciously denied a fellow healthcare worker ( which is fine if its policy ) but they allowed this woman claiming she has a fever to cut the 2 hour line not even minutes beforethe hypocrisy! this was unsettling to me and when I decided to issue a complaint. I asked the woman behind the desk if I could give a complaint and went on to explain my difficulties in understanding their patient selection. The woman behind the desk immediately caught an attitude, told me to speak up after I told her I didnt want to speak loudly and make the other woman that I was discussing feel uncomfortable (considering she was just doing as she was told). She added, if youre not feeling well, than what the woman did was fine. They dont take appointments but thats basically what happened anyway! I thanked the woman behind the desk kindly, sat down and was seen by a doctor 4560 minutes after check in. Summary Time waiting outside: 2 hours Time in waiting room: 4560 mins Doctor visit: 35 mins (including +15 for rapid results) Appx total time: 3.5 hours Level of professionalism: 2/10 Cleanliness: 6/10 Quality of care: 4/10
The line for the Covid 19 test is always long, no social distance and even people with no mask . They should make sure people is following the regulations.
Im not someone to review but I simply have to for this. What a horrible experience. After 2 hours of waiting (understandably) I was taken for my rapid test. The first doctor told me they would be able to send out my rapid for a pcr no problem, which is why I went. I wanted the rapid and pcr, as Ive seen many people get inaccurate results from the rapid. When the main doctor came in to tell me I was negative, he basically refused to send it out for pcr. I had been feeling symptoms all week, and am high risk as well as high risk to expose other people. They said to get the pcr sent out I would have to wait again for another test, when I know other places they just send the rapid and use the same test. After receiving my discharging paperwork I saw they crossed me off at no symptoms and no high risk which is why it wasnt sent out for pcr (what the paperwork says)..... I know it must be stressful with the high volume of tests but that doesnt make it okay to be rude, or to discount the wishes of your patients.
Makes people who are possibly sick with covid stand outside in the cold to get tested. That is nuts. Take appts and call them in by appts. Thats totally heartless and insane.
THIS PLACE IS RACIST im only giving this place ANY stars is because the male nurse who helped us was beyond sweet. When i walked through the doors, this female nurse asked us what was wrong and i said i needed two mandatory covid tests for my aunts flight that was the next day. After telling her this she looks at me and my aunt up and down and says, im gonna assume you have no insurance. Are you fing kidding me?? why because all spanish people are poor and immigrants? i was extremely offended by this and she then proceeded to treat us like we were slow and deaf. NEVER going back to this place.
This is about the facility at 2187 Richmond Ave. Dr Kraja or should I say Dr KRUEL! my 19 year old daughter went into take the covid swab and blood test. Dr. Kraja told her I am here to torture you! She was already nervous and sometimes passes out during blood tests. He then pushed up TWO swabs one up each nostril she told him he was hurting her and then he left one up longer than the other. Then when she got the blood test she wasnt looking and then he YELLED at her to put her finger on it! THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE!!!nSTAY AWAY! When I call the number for the facility NO ONE ANSWERS!
Ive been here a few times. Each time the people treat me with the utmost professionalism. The wait is not too bad and the service is top notch. When I went there was a PA Amanda Kulesza who was super friendly, professional extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnose, treat me and send in a script to treat my ailment. I totally recommend citi md to anyone with a sickness.
I went here for the first time on Thursday because my mother works for a senior facility. We waited about an hour and half outside for the COVID19, which is understandable. The doctor I had was amazing! The girls that evening were nice and polite. I went back today because its an executive order from Gov Cuomo for employees to go twice a week. The doctor today was very nice but the front desk person this afternoon (a girl sitting in the middle) was rude. She seemed annoyed when we let her know about being uninsured until June. I called ahead to ask for prices. I have the money to pay while we wait for the current insurance to activate. Anyways, other than that lady everyone else were polite and knew what they were doing.
I have always had a great experience at this urgent care. My last visit I waited less than 20 minutes to be seen. The physician was very professional and respectful. All of the staff members were kind and I left feeling as though I was listened to. The doctor explained my symptomsAnd what medications work best. It was thorough exam, the doctor was fantastic. MyMeds were ready as soon as I got to my pharmacy. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend this place.
This city md is terrible every time I come in here I am waiting for longer than 3040 min to even be out into a room . On line the wait time says 6 min but this couldnt be further from the truth. This is my 4th time coming to city md for myself and my children in the last 2 weeks . My daughter was told she tested positive for the flu to only be told less than a week later that she now has the flu and spread it to the entire household.
I took my daughter to this location two days ago. She had what I thought was a rash. Apparently she had ringworm. No big deal, right? Treatable with anti fungal cream. Kids get weird stuff all the time so I wasnt worried. But what I didnt know, and what their doctor never bothered to tell me is that its highly contagious. How do you see a kid for something and not BOTHER to tell their parent that its CONTAGIOUS!!!????? Not only is it highly contagious but she isnt able to participate in pool related activities. Now the doctors note I asked for like a good and responsible parent is no longer valid. I go back to to ask for a note for her absence period (which is longer than the doctor told me) AND not being able to swim. All because their Doctor is incompetent. I am then told, sorry you have to call a separate number, ask for the letters and come back to pick it up. Words fail me. Save yourself the aggravation and go to your own doctor. This place is just plain awful with some of the most patient unfriendly policies I have ever seen. Writing this as I sit outside in their parking lot wasting 20 minutes of my life to get 2 notes due to their incompetence.
Everyone at this place was extremely friendly and professional. The PA I saw was great and I could see she really knew her stuff, the front desk were welcoming and professional. So why did I not give it 5 stars? With all the great people here, the XRay tech, I believe his name was Darren was extremely unfriendly and had a really bad attitude. He acted like I was putting him out because I needed to get an Xray. The PA said no need to put on a robe, you can take your shirt off in the Xray room, when he came in to get me he said you have an undershirt on, I said no, he threw a robe at me and said take your shift off and put it on. He walked out and I had to guess where he went after I put on the robe, and I assumed he wanted me to follow him. His people skills were really bad. Not sure why he wants to be in the health field when he clearly does not like his job. Again, everyone else at this place were great, but this guy did not belong. I was there Sunday 12/29/19.
