Disgrace !! The fact there turn away patients who need emergency care should be a crime ! The staged Covid crisis — The vaccine mandate for their staff — They out a new wing on the hospital from the millions they made from Covid ..hope every sues them !
Rude, incompetent n unconcerned
Worst hospital I’ve ever been too . I came in was in a lot of pain . Yes it was extremely busy at first but emptied out . I had a nurse take blood sticks the needle in my arm and I literally gushed blood everywhere that another nurse had to come help her . I had to drink this medicine and wait 2 hours to get a catscan . I waited in a hallway with no blanket for over 3 hours. Got asked to give a urine sample . It sat for over an hour in a half and I walked to find my nurse no one took my sample. Also complained the needle in my arm was extremely painful if someone could flush it or remove it if I didn’t need it anymore I couldn’t get an answer or help on that . I didn’t get treated for what I came in for . Sat here from 9:45pm till 3:45am with no help or anything resolved . Worst place I’ve ever been too . Do not go ! So as I said I wanted to sign myself out and leave they had no problem going to get the papers for me to sign . So now it’s the middle of the night and I have to find a place that will actually care about their patients . UNBELIEVABLE
Well there are good people who work here, the experience and policies of this facility and norwell health are poor. They were request you do tests that you might not need, they will leave in an IV port to keep you from leaving, this should be your last option if you need healthcare. Do not go here if you have any other option.Update: After seeing that this hospital has a history for fraud issues, I am reaching out to the appropriate athorities.
Dr Tam is nice doctor but I don't like the security guards at the clinic
Horrible disservice to my aunt. She checked in around 11pm last night and the staff was lazy, rude to other patients, and overall had a lack of professionalism when dealing with patients. It sickening what this hospital has become and I hope all the health care workers that have left based on the mandate win and come back because I don't see how you can keep up a hospital that was once great into whatever this mess has become. Be lucky I'm giving you 1/5 stars.
I am giving 5 stars , the intern guy Ahmed walk us with two days baby on other side of the bulging … so much respect to you my friend … for helping us 👍👍… you would became a great doctor 👨⚕️… you literally made our day !!!!👍👍👍
Incompetent
My father, 85 years old was admitted on November 19th around 10am. The type of service that he has been given or the lack thereof at Staten Island university hospital is absolutely ludicrous. Completely unacceptable. He has been in the hospital for 40 hours with no real diagnosis or attempt at figuring out what’s wrong, why he is in pain and they have NOT taken him for a second MRI as they said they would to determine the cause of his pain. My mother, brother and I are crying and are completely overwhelmed at the lack of professionalism in this hospital. We have repeatedly had to tell each and every different doctor, we lost count at this point, what it is that my father has, feels etc. Is this how you treat all your patients especially sick elderly 85 year olds? I am appalled and disgusted with the manner in which the staff in this hospital has conducted itself.
I would like to say thank you to everyone who was taking care of me as a result of COVID and pneumonia especially nurses and their assistants on 3rd floor,Doctors Shulman,Gupta. We are all so kind careless and very generous professional

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
