Dr. Hoyek is “Beyond Amazing “both professionally aPersonally. He had been my cardiologist fir over five years . I have had a number of other issues that Dr. Hoyek had seen me through. I was rushed to the hospital in January 2021 with COVID and hospitalized for near a month . He came as soon as I was admitted and I went into respiratory failure and septic shock and had to have an immediate procedure . I saw Dr Hoyek standing there and asked him as I was drifting “Is this procedure okay “.? He said “Yes you need it “. I felt so safe and confident with Dr Hoyek there. It saved my life because of the faith I have in him. He came to check on me just about every single day I was in the hospital . I have been on Oxygen 10 months recovering from Covid and it was Dr . Hoyek that got me off the oxygen - not my pulmonologist. Professionally THERE IS NO BETTER than Dr. Hoyek.His compassion and kindness and down to earth personality alone makes you feel comfortable and safe. I have never met a doctor who is Beyond Amazing . I am 68 years old and have suffered with quite a few illness besides the heart attack andCovid and Dr Hoyek was always right there and “Spot On” with his diagnosis. I now have anemia pretty seriously and none of my other doctors even suggested it could be the from one of the medicines I was taking. He is so close to God in my eyes. He is way beyond a “Great Cardiologist “! His Staff is Amazing too . They are friendly and warm . Sue had been so kind and accommodating to me always with my visits after the Covid. Sue got me right in and out of the office . I just don t know how they make the time to do so much for their patients. No matter how busy they are if you need something they stop what they are doing and cater t your questions. They work so efficiently. They do not make a medical offices like this !! Dr. Hoyek knows how to get the “greatest staff “ and they stay working there so I think he must be a “Great Boss “ too. I will end this by saying Dr. Hoyek is a Brilliant doctor and is a little modest about his professional skills . He cares more for his patients and not even thinking to get notoriety. He deserves . Thank you to Dr. Hoyek for taking such good care of me and Thank Sue and Staff for doing the same. They do not come any better that this office !!! ..

If I could give 0 stars I would. Such a shame that such a good doctor, has staff like that in his office. His “office manager” telling me if I cancel my appointment, she won’t send my prescription. Sounds like a threat/ultimatum to me. Giving me every excuse in the book as too why they couldn’t send pre approval papers back (vacation, cancer patients, covid patients). Screaming at me on the phone while having patients in office - Absolutely disgraceful.

The best doctor around . He saved my husband’s life . We opted with this cardiologist over others we have known of in Manhattan . He is super qualified to care for patients with any heart problems . We are eternally grateful . He not only is super knowledgeable but is patient kind and caring. And the office manager Sue helped expedite all appointments and results to get us cared for , treated , admitted immediately . Without her help my husband would NOT be here . God bless them .

Dr.Wissam is a very professional and caring individual that will provide you with the best possible care! He is on top of my health and I can't thank him enough for everything he has done and his skillful care plans. Highly recommended and have been his patient for years. He's the best! Extremely genuine doctor that cares about the health of his patients~

Nasty arrogant, test results not given after 10 days waiting

Dr. Hoyek is a phenomenal Cardiologist. Went to his office and within days I was diagnosed. His staff and bed side manner makes it easy for me to feel comfortable and assured I’m being taken care of.

I dealt with 3 cardiologists in my life (my dad's and two of mine) and hands down, Dr. Hoyek is the best. He is calm, and he calms, explains everything and answers all questions. If further surgery is required, that he cannot do, he will ensure you get the best doctor. His Staten Island staff truly are the best. Sue, Cathy and the rest go above and beyond with their assistance. Very happy with him and his staff.

The best cardiologist in Staten Island. Dr. Hoyek is kind, compassionate and very thorough going over every detail of your visit, tests or diagnosis. His office staff are very friendly and professional, which is a plus because they are the first people to greet you. The office has late hours which is very convenient for those of us who get put of work a bit late.

Five stars is not enough when rating Dr Hoyek and his office staff. The office manager and staff are all extremely professional and compassionate when handling patients and their specials needs. They understand patients urgency to see Dr. Hoyek and make every attempt to accommodate you. Every doctors office should take lessons from this office.From when you initially meet Dr. Hoyek and going forward you will realize immediately his office is a reflection of him. A compassionate, extremely knowledgeable in his field and sympathetic cardiologist. He understands the concerns and fears of his patients and takes the time to listen, which most doctors don’t really take the time to do, and thoroughly addresses and explains everything to you. When you leave his office you are very well informed and feel confident that you are being taken care of by the best!!!.
