List of Gabrielle Gossner's Reviews
Extremely professional. A very good listener. Dr. Gossner takes time to understand her patients AND their families. Every interaction with her, whether by phone or in person, has been exceptional. She never rushes you through and gives the patient as much time and attention as they need in order to feel they have all their questions and concerns addressed. Dr. Gossner has been a blessing during an extremely difficult illness and time for our family.
The best doctor I never had, I trust her with my life. Caring and very smart!!! Have 3c fallopian tube cancer , my last chemo is April 29th and she has made this terrible diagnosis easier with her positive and caring attitude !!!
Dr Gossner and her team were absolutely and completely caring professional thorough and reassuring as i approached the most serious surgery of my life. As i am recovering now I am grateful and thankful that i was I was directed to her office in the first place
Dr Gossner made me feel very comfortable from the moment i met her. she and her staff are very warm caring people and i recommend her highly.
Dr. Gossner performed laparoscopic surgery on me. I recovered quickly and with minimal pain. She is an excellent surgeon, and I highly recommend this brilliant physician.
She is a wonderfully caring and compassionate physician who is always available.
Dr. Gosner saw me the same day my breast oncologist called her. She gave me an exam and a sonogram and explained in great detail the surgery that needed to be done and the one that might need to be done if the biopsy was cancer. She was professional and kind at the same time. I had both of my ovaries and tubes removed and she took great care of me. I highly recommend her. The staff at the office are pleasant and very little wait time to be seen.
My issue with Dr. Gossner is that she changed practices with no notice to patients of any kind. She just disappeared. When I called her original practice for a follow-up appointment after surgery, I was snarkily informed that she is no longer there and hung up on. I found this to be a grossly unprofessional situation and am currently looking for another doctor. It's been over 6 months and I've still received no notice of the move, nor any information on where to find her for follow up. As a stage 4 cancer patient, this has left me feeling rather abandoned.
I have been seeing Dr. Gossner for about a year and a half now. She is by far the absolute best gyn oncologist I've been to. (I've been to a few because Dr. Gossner switched offices a couple months ago and I couldn't find her at first, so I saw other oncologists, but they just couldn't compare to Dr. Gossner, so I kept looking for her.) I'm very picky about doctors, as I have a ton of medical training myself and can tell when they don't know what they're doing. Dr. Gossner's skill, knowledge and experience as a clinician and a surgeon is just, plain and simple, superior to that of other oncologists I tried. That is really important, obviously, but beyond that, she's a human being and she treats you like a human being. She doesn't just look at your test results and exams, she sits there and explains everything to you, and then, and this is huge for me, she pauses and just allows for some time for you to process and ask questions. I have never felt rushed and I've always felt cared for. I've also found her exams to be gentle and she has always continually checked in with me during an exam to make sure she's not hurting me. For any of her patients who have been searching for her and can't find her, she's in her new office now: West Park Medical Group, 200 W 57th St, 10th Floor, Suite 1001, 212-663-6604
An upbeat modern doctor with a no nonsense approach to my questions. I have already recommended her to friends. She takes the time to listen and recommend various treatment plans. She is a keeper.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
