List of Long Island Speech And Myofunctional Therapy's Reviews
We had such a wonderful experience with Katelyn. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring while helping our son with latching onto his bottles and preventing his lip tie from causing further restrictions. She took the time to carefully assess his feeding, made thoughtful adjustments to his feeding schedule, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and actually doable at home. Most importantly, Katelyn gave my husband and me so much more confidence when it comes to feeding our son. I highly recommend her to any family looking for compassionate and expert feeding help
I am not sure what happen today my appointment at the west hampton location was for 4 the therapist madison was late the other patient came out at around 4:07 and I was called in the room around 4:09 so I did not have that much time because the other patient wasted all my time that is un fair they should not let the patient go over
My child was seen here by a therapist named Gina. She was absolutely fabulous. She was professional and extremely kind and helped my child immensely. She gave us great advice and resources. Staff was friendly and accommodating!
We worked with Katelyn at the Stony Brook office of LI Speech after having a lot of feeding difficulties. I was at my wit's end when I came to her and she not only figured out the issue (quickly, too) but guided my family and I towards progress every week in a really comforting and easy-to-follow way. I really didn't know what to do before I found this office or amazing lactation consultant, myofunctional therapist, and SLP all-in-one!! The best.
Ashley and Katelyn have helped my son so much in the 6 months he has been getting services. All staff is friendly and flexible. My son learns so much and looks forward to speech every week!
Update, replying to business response: I want to be clear that I left this review because of how poorly I was treated—not because of your policy. If the project manager had simply taken a moment to explain the policy in a considerate way, I would not be writing this review. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and rude tone, and my concerns were brushed aside. I was also hung up on during our phone call—I was still on the line, fully engaged, when the call abruptly ended. The claim that my name was called out is simply not true. To clarify, the comment I made about someone "feeling the same way I do" was not referring to my speech therapist, but to someone else I had spoken to. It’s frustrating to see that was misrepresented. I never questioned the quality of therapy I received—my therapist was excellent. But how I was treated when I tried to advocate for myself was deeply disappointing. I’ve since found a provider that communicates more respectfully, and that has made a meaningful difference in my care. ____________________________________________ I was a patient for over five years and had a great experience with my speech therapist. However, I chose to leave due to how unprofessionally management handled a recent situation. At my last appointment, I arrived to find out my therapist was unavailable, and I had not been informed in advance. When I asked if I could be notified in the future, I was told it was against policy. After two weeks of calls, I finally spoke with the project manager, who was rude and dismissive rather than listening to my concerns. When I calmly expressed my concerns, she accused me of "bashing" their business despite this being my first review on the manner. She also abruptly hung up on me as I was hoping they’d reconsider their policy. While they ultimately waived my cancellation fee, the lack of respect and professionalism made it seem like my concerns didn’t matter. I want to emphasize that my speech therapist and the front desk staff were always wonderful. However, no patient should have to fight just to be heard. Management should treat people with respect and reconsider how they handle patient concerns.
I am so incredibly thankful for this office and most of all for Ashley. Ashley is truly talented with what she does. You can tell she is not only highly educated and trained, but she clearly loves the kids she works with and they love her. My child has made leaps and bounds since starting in just a few months and she always knows just what to do to make a session interesting. We are always excited to come and see her! There is nothing quite like finding someone that takes such incredible care of your child and I genuinely do not have enough words to highly recommend Ashley D. at LI speech. Thank you so much!
My daughter has progressed incredibly with Miss Katelyn in her feeding therapy! She came in as a 5yo incredibly picky eater and has expanded her food choices in all food groups. Katelyn is so patient and kind but really knows how to encourage children at the same time. The wait times are minimal and check in is easy peasy!
Highly recommend Kaitlyn C! My son was refusing bottles and after following her recommendations and seeing her for a few sessions, he was back on track! She’s helpful and patient!
I’m so thankful for Katelyn and all she has done for our daughter. Our 10 month old was having feeding issues so I wanted to pursue therapy. Katelyn was amazing with her from the start. She’s so knowledgeable in feeding- I was blown away with how much she knows. She helped our daughter who began eating quickly after we started with her. I can’t recommend her enough as mother and an SLP.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
