He was barely a part of chemo treatment other than an initial consult and 1 or 2 visits mid treatment. He is very rushed, doesn’t take time to thoroughly explain treatment or listen to patient. His nurse practitioner Lisa was the person who we saw and she leaves A LOT to be desired. She’s not very intelligent tbh, and her bedside manner was apathetic. It was clear to us she was too green and in over her head with this speciality. We learned more from online research than her. She made significant mistakes when it came to treatment and that created uncomfortable physical issues. Fortunately, physicians at Stony Brook caught her error and fixed it. In the end, our loved one did not make it. But he was in the ER from cancer complications and we happened to see Dr. Keresztes walk by us. We told him of our loved one’s dire condition and he never even popped in to see him and say hello. Furthermore, he put a resident on the case for that entire week, never once checking in. Felt abandoned.

Dr. Keresztes office & his staff made me feel so relaxed. I was nervous not knowing what to expect. So they explained everything to me in a way were I would understand. Oh & the snacks & coffee are delicious as well.I would highly recommend Dr. Keresztes to anyone that how good he is.Dr. Keresztes is.the best.
