Nihal Sandhu Md's Online Review Report Card

Based on my personal real-world, life experience, Dr. Nihal Sandhu, is the best of the best in pulmonary medicine. I was fortunate enough to see him back in August 2008 when I was heading into the city for meetings. I started having shortness of breath and was led to go to Good Samaritan (which I had never been to before). By the grace of God, I am here today because when I went to the hospital, I assumed I needed just a breathing treatment… however, this was not the case. After the X-Ray, the hospital advised that I wasn't going anywhere, and that I was being admitted. Thankfully, Dr. Sandhu was able to see on the X-Ray and CatScan, that I had bilateral pneumonia, whereas the previous 6 doctors I had seen over a period of 5 weeks prior, were unable to see or detect, and unfortunately just prescribed steroids… Dr. Nihal Sandhu became my Pulmonologist while I resided in Rockland County and will be forever grateful to him. Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Sandhu were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Sandhu really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

Giving this doctors office 1 star because i can’t give it 0. Whoever works at the front desk needs to be fired. They’re not helpful. Being someone who struggles with asthma, they take your problems way too lightly for me. Struggled to get my medication more than twice. Throw the whole staff away!!!!

Not only did I have to wait almost 2 hours in the waiting room, Dr. Sandhu was rude and insulting to me! I will not be going back to him.

Came into the office & had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment. If it weren't for the staff AKA front desk lady & nurse, I probably would've walked. Not only are they knowledgeable but, very entertaining & sweet!! Even tho the wait time was long & others complained, the ladies in that office kept everyone at ease in a timely manner & I actually enjoyed myself.

KNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTOR!!!

Dr. Sandhu was very courteous and professional, however, his office staff is in my opinion, incompetent. Dr. Sandhu should seek better staff to manage his office. The office was directed to acquire a medical authorization for a CAT scan. It has been three weeks and the authorization has yet to be secured. Will not be returning.

He was wonderful! Very kind when first meeting! He does a detailed evaluation when you have concerns! He will listen to the litany of concerns you may have. He was one of the nicest and pleasent doctors with the professionalism that I have met. I was pregnant at the time when I saw him having difficulty breathing! He help the baby and myself come thru fine!!!
