She's quite nice in-person, but I had to wait over an hour when I arrived on time. She only saw me for about 10-15 minutes. I took some lab tests the next day and then no news for 3 weeks?! I tried to call several times and still couldn't reach the Dr. The office's so disorganized. Avoid

Dr. Alcarez is a thorough and caring doctor. She does not start at a computer screen when you see her. She actually interacts with her patients and takes her time. I find her to be an excellent doctor.

I have had Dr. Alcarez as my doctor for the past 10 years. I have found her to be extremely personable, professional, caring and thorough in terms of her examinations and sharing the findings with you. I recently had an accident while traveling abroad and I wrote to her via email for advise and she replied immediately. As a result upon landing in New York, I was able to seek the appropriate medical care and treatment. She is highly qualified and really cares about her patience.
