Ross Bauer Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ross spent the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. More importantly, he has a very good bed side manner. He is not only knowledgeable, but very attentive and thorough. The nurse and office staff were friendly and courteous. Highly recommend Dr. Ross

Nice doctor. The office is a nightmare, beginning with the office manager down to the nurse are not helpful, responsive, or efficient. It's impossible to schedule tests or procedures due to their inept abilities and inability to take responsibility. If you want to waste your time and get aggravated, this is the office for you.

First visit with Dr Bauer when my doctor retired. Dr Bauer was very friendly, gentle and efficient in his exam. He fully explained my options and left the next step up to me. I will be going back soon to take the next step that he suggested.

Dr. Bauer's procedure and recommendations for the patient were terrible. In addition, when asked what he thought the problem was, he offered ideas that were not within his expertise in the field of urology and guessed at a particular disease. Instead of telling the patient that he did not know the source of the problem and recommending that they seek out another doctor, he gave an uneducated opinion and scared the patient unnecessarily. When the patient then went for other opinions, the other physicians were outraged at the procedure that he performed and the advice he had given. The patient had several appointments with Dr Bauer, and there were times when some staff members were rude and thoughtless. All in all, we would never recommend this doctor.

Dr. Bauer was excellent, however getting through to the office by phone is next to impossible.

I will agree with the other reviewers that the staff is unprofessional. They are not very kind. I'm new to the New York area so I just chocked it up to the attitude you get down in the City. The doctor is awesome though. He spends a lot of time with his patient, both during the screening and afterwards in his office. I dont think its right that the rating of such a superb physician is skewed by some disgruntled staff.

They refused to provide an appointment for my nephew stating that they had sent letters and messages regarding a past inquiry we did but when they provided the address and number they had on record, it was wrong. We had simply inquire about an appointment a few months prior but an appointment was never made and because of it they discharge this patient without even seen him. The lady advice he can't get an appointment ever with them. I couldn't believe what they were saying. The lady was very unprofessional, had a awful tone and screamed for no reason. I asked to speak to the office manager and I'm still waiting for her call. I can't believe they turn patients down with no reason, mind you the information in their records was wrong. Sad!! I would never want to go to an office that the employees have no manners and such practice. I found a better place!

Very Rude Office and Dr ! Unprofessional. Do NOT Recommend.
