Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Abiola Familusi's Reviews
He owns apartments in Deposit NY and refuses to pay the water bill for it; leaving numerous families without running water for months. Hope he cares about his patients.
Only worried about money. Horrible MD.
Friendly, easy to talk to, was in great pain. Gave me hope.paetnered with me in My treatment.called me a few days after I saw him to make sure I was getting better. I will have my entire family goto him
Do not ever go to this idiot. He has terrible bedside manners. He is very arrogant but yet has absolutely little medical knowledge. He is really more of a health care administrator. He pushes pain pills, has little knowledge with pain procedures, and was not knowledgeable about home exercises. Very bad reputation. Definitely see someone else if you want throughout care.
It is sad to see this doctor involved with AdvantageCare Physicians. His bedside manners is horrible. He has a very dismissive attitude towards patients and staff members. So many medical staff members and patients do not like him. Unfortunately his behavior goes beyond his cultural background. Do not expect high quality care by this embarrassment of a doctor. I felt as if I was in a medical office mill where he only cared about his dollars. There are many other physiatrists in Long Island that show more respect to you as a patient. Familusi will spend little time with you. He will look at his laptop more than making eye contact with you. Please save your energy and find another doctor that is a true class act.
The most unprofessional physician I have ever encountered. No bedside manner or even courteous behavior exhibited by him. Very aloof, projecting an attitude or don't bother me.
May be good for people with sole conditions but not for people with multiple conditions or a special needs patients.Diagnosis and treatment method seemed fair at first.Definitely not professional ... who answers a personal cell phone call while in an appointment with a patient?Did not follow up or return a phone call for a medication he prescribed me. Had to go for an office visit with my PCP the following week for a replacement that did work and start to help me.Treatment methods seemed too radical and extreme and made very little logical sense. He seemed to contradict himself and not know how to help me except to limit limit limit and restict restrict restrict.Did not treat 'me' as a patient but treated the generalized condition. Every patient is different and some have more going on than meets the eye.Did not answer my questions; dismissed and ignored them instead.I felt talked down to instead of talked to.I really just wanted someone to explain the condition to me, what it was, what it meant for me, and help me to figure out how to overcome or in the least manage it. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I will not be going back for any additional office visits with him. I am currently looking for someone new who will help do those things. I'm in too much pain to waste my time and money with a doctor who could care less about me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
