Gregory Zapantis's Online Review Report Card

Thank you Dr. Zapantis and all of your staff, especially Kat, Margot, and Sandra. I wasted 1.5 years having my fertility care through the local health system’s Dr’s and hospitals. It was a “factory” feel and impersonal, during a time when as a patient I needed personalized and empathetic care. This office provided just that. Dr. Zapantis is the only Dr at NYRW. He oversees everything. It was this attention to detail, his kindness, his persistence, and caring staff that took me from a hopeless place to now having my 6 week old daughter. Words cannot express my gratitude to everyone at NYRW.

Doctor Zapantis is the BEST DOCTOR in New York! He is patient, compassionate, kind and truly cares about his patients. I started seeing him in 2020 and it is now September 2021 and I am already 12 weeks pregnant with my 1st baby. The office is brand new and clean. All of the staff are friendly and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I wish I could have continued my prenatal care with him and have him deliver my baby!

If you’re looking for a fertility doctor who actually cares look no further! I only wish I had found Doctor Zapantis earlier in my journey. I switched to his practice after being continuously disappointed by my first fertility doctor and after my first meeting in the NYRW office I never looked back! Dr Z. Took almost an hour to sit and review my case with me in great detail; already in the first meeting I had spent more time with him than I did with my first fertility doctor over months at the other practice. He is also very action oriented and I told him where I was at and my hopeful timeline and he jumped to action. Doing my first scans within that same first appointment as well as bloodwork. (No need to schedule and go back for something they could do right then!) anyways within the first week of being under their care I received countless calls from the various members of their staff who were all super helpful and kind. Dr. Z even called me himself at one point to check in, and personally I’ve only ever been called directly by a doctor one time in the past and it was only to deliver very bad news. Anyways I could rant for a while but the thing that stood out to me the most was that I ended up getting pregnant naturally before we could start ivf and Even though Dr. Z didn’t help me get pregnant, they still agreed to do blood work/test progesterone, etc. (I have an issue with reoccurring pregnancy loss) and this is something that speaks incredibly loud to me! This exact same thing happened with my previous fertility doctor and they refused to see my through the care of that pregnancy, even though I had already had a pregnancy loss, and at the end I ended up losing that one too and their refusal to help try and make sure it didn’t happen again left the worst taste in my mouth. I can tell based off this alone that at NYRW they legitimately care and want to help try and help me carry this pregnancy through, rather than just trying to make a buck. I have complete faith that they will do all that they have the ability to do to help me with this pregnancy and if I happen to lose this one too, I will definitely be staying with Dr. Z’s practice and referring as many people as possible that are sick of being treated like just another number at other practices. Highly Recommend!

Hi everyone!!! Today is my last day here and I will miss it :) There is not enough words to describe Dr.Zepantis and this location!!! HE IS THE BEST FERTILITY DOCTOR ON LONG ISLAND. It’s simply true. We went to a couple different ones prior him. Not even close. He is very kind ,patient ,smart , knows what he is doing specialist. We GOT PREGNANT!! It did took a couple tries-and 6 years (7 IUI- 2 IFV) and 3 transfer but it worked . All I can say I am amazed by him and staff - everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a fertility doctor- come here and u will be treated and takes care of. Prices here are very reasonable- we went to other locations( not even close) . Some insurance cover , not ours . So had to make sure we can afford it . P.S. very clean office, modern design !! Good luck to everyone ladies 👶🏻It’s possible to get pregnant !! Don’t give up !!! 2021 baby ❤️

Dr. Zapantis is an exceptional doctor in every manner. He is extremely intelligent, compassionate and caring. Any couple that is going through the heartache of infertility issues should absolutely go to him. He really is amazing and I would not have my little miracles if it was not for his constant support and his expertise. My Husband and I are forever thankful to him. Hope he continues his amazing ...

Worst experience of my life

He is great but the staff in this office especially the office manager is horrible. She thinks it is professional to speak with her team about personal matters in an open setting. She also thinks it's okay to talk to a patient's financial situation tin an open setting as well. When you ask to meet in her office, she has you stand the entire time while she sit (???). Completely unprofessional. A great team can make or break a doctor no matter how good he or she is. Again, loved the doctor but the office staff does not help him so I left to a different doctor whose team is phenomenal.

Great experience!!!! Great doctor and staff, would recommend Dr. Zapantis to family and friends!!!! My husband and I felt comfortable and all of our questions and concerns about our treatment were explained in detail. If you are going through infertility and need a great doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Zapantis!!!!!!!!
