I think Dr. McCormack is a wonderful sports orthopedic doctor ! Has excellent bedside manners and he is very easy to understand ! He has explained himself very well with my issues ! Thank you Dr. McCormack

At age 51, I recently found out I need a Total Hip Replacement (THR) of my left hip. A co-worker who recently (October 2015) had his THR done recommended I see the doctor who did his replacement (Dr. McCormack). I just back from my appointment with Dr. McCormack (which I was able to get within 1 week). Doctor McCormack was one of the nicest doctors I have ever had the pleasure to see. He spent an amazing amount of time explaining my situation and my possible treatments. He answered all of my questions (some sites have a list of about 20 questions you should ask) and would not leave the room until I was satisfied. He recommended a THR if I wanted to become as active as I would like to be. When I questioned Anterior vs Posterior (important to know the difference) , he said he only did Posterior because that was all he was trained on (to date). He did say that I would be a very good candidate for an Anterior THR and went so far as setting me up with a doctor who mentored him on Posterior THR. The doctor he referred me to does the Anterior THP and has written articles on that method. Question for anyone reading this: How many doctors would be so nice as to recommend you see some other Surgeon? Not many if you ask me. If it turns out I can't get an Anterior THR, I will most certainly be going back to Dr. Richard McCormack for him to do a Posterior THR. Truly one of the nicest you will meet. DO NOT Hesitate to see this doctor if you think you may need a THR!!!

Dr McCormack was the 3rd orthopedic doctor i have seen over the last 10 years regarding my knees. The first 2 were fairly dismissive even after both my knees were scoped. Dr McCormack was prompt, took his time, asked a number of questions and was very understanding. The admin staff was great as well. Would use him again in a hearbeat
