Excellent doctor. Great experience and knowledge. Amazing critical thinking and clinical discernment, able to follow patient's symptoms even though tests did not show what was really happening. His thinking and experience helped avoid further complications. God bless you and continue to provide judgement for the benefit of the patients.

After Dr. Ahmed performed a "procedure" on my husband prior to scheduled gall bladder surgery, the doctor never checked up on his patient. Before performing the "procedure" he went over with us what the procedure was for and what would happen. He also said that only about 3 percent of patients had problems afterwards and that was usually in the form of an infection. My husband ended up with an infection but the doctor was never to be seen again. He never checked in to see how his patient was doing. Because of that infection, my husband kept complaining of pain and the people in charge just kept pushing morphine. After a day or two even the morphine wasn't doing the job, but the "good doctor" was never seen again. After a few days of excruciating pain, the doctors in charge took him to be intubated, but, unfortunately, it was too late. My husband died before he could be intubated. The autopsy proved very revealing. Dr. Ahmed wasn't mentioned anyplace in the hospital notes and records except for his surgical dictation, which, according to those records, had to be re-dictated as his first notes/dictation had gotten lost.

Dr Ahmed is an amazing surgeon with great compassion and care. He removed my gangrenous appendix with great skill and got me better quick!

Although, this doctor acted with courtesy, he should have explored the tumor and sent it out to pathology for further evaluation.
