I sought a second & third opinion after this “ doctor” misdiagnosed my son with a hernia. He then referred him to another college to perform an unnecessary surgery for what actually turned out to be a pulled groin that just needed PT. When I called the office back to inform them of this and request their assistance in writing a prescription for his PT, since the other 2 consults were done at home( out of state) and he was the doctor he had seen in NY (at school), the nurse I spoke with said the doctor refused and would not be willing to help me. I was shocked as I have never had encountered a negative experience with a medical related issue for me or my family before and we have had several. We reside in Massachusetts and I’m so thankful for the quality and professionalism in health care we have here. This has been an eye opener for me and I now know not to take quality healthcare for granted, or expect to receive the same level of care out of state. I do not recommend Dr. Tao and strongly suggest you seek medical expertise from someone more qualified and that understands and practices professionalism.
