Dr. Canute performed surgery on my lower back and I was discharged the same day!
No bedside manner. Treating me for something he’s not even knowledgeable about. Seemed to enjoy putting me in pain. Wasted months and problem just got worse. Always late for appointment. Never again.
Amazing doctor and staff.
i love dr canute best doctor
This Doctor is Amazing! He's direct, confident and great bed side manner! He has a very calming demeanor. When my daughter was 4 years old she had an AVM Dr. Canute not only saved her life, but when we were absolutely terrified with what was happening with our daughter, he made us feel like everything was going to be ok, he radiated confidence and calmness. God sent us an angel for our daughter! Our daughter is now 20 years old and in college
Dr Canute is by far one of the nicest doctors I have met. I was suffering with a dropped foot and severe neuropathy pain down my left leg and into my foot. He found that I had a good sized bulging disc at L3-L4. He did a laminectomy and now I am 3 weeks post-op. Neuropathy pain almost gone and I am able to wiggle my big toe. The dropped foot will take time and PT. I have nothing but high praise for him and his wonderful staff. Linda his NP has been a great help with answering my questions.
He is callous, terrible bedside manner, cuts you off if you try to ask questions (I went prepared with a list) and completely misread my MRIs. TALK ABOUT INCOMPETENT. DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!
My experience in finding out that I have brain tumor and what to with it from Dr. Canute was that they dragged their feet to do anything and hi with my leg getting worse. Having had biopsy and pet scan and just tell devastating news the way he told me and not have any treatments or anything in place for me is just outrageous. Not compassionate at all.
I'm a personal patient of his, a work-in-progress so to speak, I love him and he is definitely the best neurosurgeon I've ever had
We were referred to Dr Canute do to a mass found in my husband's head. Dr Canute referred him to an ent and for an mri. Each time there was a referral it took weeks, us calling, doing most of the leg work to make sure that referral was done. It took three months just for him to do a biopsy, then instead of the Dr himself telling us the results, two weeks later he left it to his Nurse Practitioner who was baffled we didn't already know from Dr Canute himself. Then another two weeks for a referral to what we were told was an oncologist but it was not. It was a radiologist. So my suggestion is this... If you have precious time to waist on a tumor inside of your loved ones head, don't mind making numerous phone calls to make things are getting done and you don't care if the Dr gives you cancer diagnosis this is the Doc for you. We are lucky at this point it was not a fast growing tumor or i might be writing an obituary on his review. We have found another neurosurgeon, our own Oncologist, radiologist and things are actually getting done. No thanks to Dr Canute or his office who can't work faxes and continue to blame others for incompetence.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
