Let me know exactly what was going to happen in plain English.

Dr J Alan Lemley was very thorough and clear. He explained the reason for my condition and possible treatments. He was very friendly and approachable. Asked many questions to ensure my understanding. Invited me back if the issue persisted. Referred me to anyone in the office if he wasn’t immediately available. he did an excellent job and I was very impressed with his level of care.

Inexperienced, and completely unhelpful. Apparently it’s normal for a “simple” break to hurt progressively more after treatment for tears to come. Acceptable. Turn it over to someone that can actually solve the problem if you can’t. Be helpful.

Dr. Lemley treated my son for a broken wrist. He required pinning and plating for stabilization. He did an amazing job, explained the procedure well and provided education regarding expectations following surgery. Highly recommend him.

I have a very low tolerance for pain and can even admit I act like a kid for my age. Dr. Lemley has the patience of a saint with me. Feel very comfortable with him and like the time he takes to explain everything to me. Have already had one surgery with him and am going for two more to get my hands working and pain free. Wouldn't have followed up with him if I didn't think he was a good doctor.

Dr Lemley and his entire staff are a great team. They work together and provide care and support from the first visit to the final one.

Dr. Lemley is an excellent orthopedic doctor who is very knowledgeable in treating hand and wrist issues. He explains everything to you and answers all questions. Very friendly and personable. Highly recommend him.

I am a NH resident who happened to be traveling through Syracuse on a work related matter on 11/09 where a mishap caused the tip of my thumb to be fractured (open). I’ve encountered quite a number of doctors over the years, as result of growing up in a military family and my age. Dr. Lemley is perhaps the best doctor I’ve ever encountered. I’ve reflected on writing this for just over a month and I am certain of my statement. You’ll appreciate his knowledge, patience, skill, attention to detail and overall job performance in your interactions with him. I do remember while in the operating room under local anesthesia (my hand numbed), I could not see what was being done nor did I wish to. A sheet separated me but I could hear how much he and his staff cared…they like what they do. I know I was very fortunate to have had the expertise of Dr. Lemley in his repair of my thumb, but more fortunate that he was my doctor. I trust you’ll find the same.
