John Cannizzaro's Online Review Report Card

Saw Dr. Cannizzaro after rupturing my Distal Biceps Tendon. He was referred to me by several people in the medical field as the "Absolute best" surgeon for sports injuries in our area. I was greeted with a warm smile (From behind a mask of course). He immediately and accurately diagnosed the injury. Didn't bat an eye at repairing it. Asked how soon I was ready. We discussed options, possible complications, surgery procedure, healing timeframe. I left his office with a full understanding of what was to come and felt completely confident that he was the man for the job. It has been six months since my repair and all restrictions have now been lifted. I am back to playing sports, lifting weights. Feel amazing! Scarring is so minimal, I've completely forgotten about the injury. Cannot thank you enough, Dr Cannizzaro, for fixing me up so perfectly!

Dr.C. is the best. Had 2 knee surgery. He actually called to see how I was doing. He actually listened to me and developed an excellent plan of care that fit my lifestyle.

My son fractured his ankle in 3 places in March and he was back to playing in basketball tournaments by July!! Great doctor who cares about his patients!!

Dr. Cannizzaro is a great Surgeon and Doctor (10/10). From the first call, the staff was more than accommodating. Dr. C was so very kind, understanding, compassionate and informative. He put a plan together and acted on it. My Son is on to his recovery, but the Dr even called first thing the morning after surgery to Check on my Son. We highly recommend Dr Cannizzaro

He repaired my rotator cuff and my bi-lateral bicep tendon and it's perfect. Like new. It took a total of about 16 to 18 months for full recovery but well worth the wait!

Absolutely amazing - 10/10. From Dr. Cannizzaro to the surrounding staff I could not have been more pleased. I sought another OS after mine in the Binghamton area would refuse to meet with me in regards to my recovery from my patella fracture. Dr. John & his P.A. were very welcoming when I told them another surgeon had performed the initial surgery. They went over everything prior to surgery, took time to explain the procedure, & answer any questions I had. Amazingly gifted & confident surgeon & would without a doubt recommend him to anyone. Very convenient that the office (1'st floor) & surgery center (3rd floor) is located within the same building.

Excellent surgeon

I highly recommend Dr. John Cannizzaro. I have had him perform surgery on me and I will not go anywhere else. He is the only one I will let treat my orthopedic needs. Very skilled and a great person. It helps me feel comfortable knowing I am in his care. I recommend him to anyone. He is up front with everything. Great surgeon and very knowledgeable.

My Doctor, Dr. Cannizzaro, did a compartment release and nerve release for chronic compartment syndrome in February, I went back today for the same surgery (fasciotomy) on my other leg. He is an amazing doctor who really gave me my life back as far as being able to exercise again. I recommend him for anyone with compartment syndrome. He also takes his time to explain everything and is very approachable with any questions or concerns. I would recommend him to anyone needing an Ortho Doctor.
