Great rapport with patient. Easily understood my shoulder issue. Never felt rushed. Explained reason for MRI before proceeding.

Highly recommend Dr smart, supporting staff and SOS Physical Therapy group. Dr Smart performed rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders 13 months apart (2020, 2021). I am pain free, sleeping much better & back in the pool swimming 1-2 miles each week.

Dr smart did my shoulder replacement. 11 days later he took out the staples.im pain free and couldn't be happier. Thanks to him and his team

Outstanding customer service from the initial phone call that I made to schedule an appointment to the care that I received from the time I entered the practice until I was discharged. Dr. Smart was personable, professional, compassionate and incredibly thorough. The ability to get in to see an orthopedic specialist at SOS is unlike any other practice that I have had experience with. This includes personally coordinating orthopedic specialty care for military members as a provider and in this case for myself. Top notch orthopedic practice that I would rate 10 out of 10!!

Dr. Smart was the consummate professional in dealing with me. The 2 most impt things to me when seeing a physician is 1) are they listening to everything I’m telling them abt my symptoms? 2) do they realize how this is impacting my life? And Dr. Smart checked both of these boxes. He is a fantastic doctor and I will recommend him HIGHLY to anyone

Dr smart has been my surgeon for my shoulder since 2015 I've had a total of seven surgeries on both shoulders due to work related injuries and wear and tear he always did a great job fixing them but I was better at tearing them up because I worked too hard and pushed them too hard and didn't let them heal good enough but through it all he was patient he let me know that the consequences of how I work and treat my body or going to be what they're going to be and there's no magic fix for stupidity he was not rude about it he's very level-headed at your level easy to talk to Great explanations of everything definitely gives me a feeling of confidence in his abilities and still relieves my pain with cortisone shots and everyone I've ever gotten from them he always hits the mark and gets the right spot he's truly gifted and an asset to SOS overall great person and surgeon

I suffered for over a year with shoulder pain. I was told it was cause from my neck not my shoulder. Dr. Smart examined me and it was my shoulder. A shot of cortisone and 2 days later no more pain.
