List of MIchael G Fitzgerald Md's Reviews
I had Dr. Fitzgerald perform carpal tunnel on my right hand four months ago. Have gone back because the left hand needs carpal tunnel as well. Dr. Fitzgerald is very professional very caring very transparent and easy to work with. His bedside manner is excellent and I feel after having other hand specialist he is by far the best of the best.
Dr Fitzgerald took the time to understand the constant pain I have been having for months in my elbow and finger tendon, thoroughly reviewed my situation, took X-rays reviewed them and then came back in to administer relief through a wrist brace to stop the tension on my elbow and an injection to my finger All in the one visit I was able to walk out of his office with almost no pain and woke up two days later completely pain free
I was seen promptly and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Fitzgerald spent a good amount of time with me and answered all of my questions. Great experience!
I've been to this office a few times for different issues. Dr Fitzgerald seems to be a knowledgeable and capable orthopedics specialist, and the staff in his Oswego road office is friendly and timely. Most recently I had to book an appointment a month and a half ahead, and after waiting all that time, he asked me about 2 questions he essentially told me to walk it off. I have since seen another doctor about my issue and am now going to physical therapy. Would have loved to hear some of his thought process or even just a possible explanation for my pain, but it seems he's too busy. Even in a prior visit about a different issue, he sorta pushed me along, saying something to the effect of "this could be corrected with surgery, but that could get expensive. How about we put a cast on it?" In short, if you really just need to be in and out of an office quickly for some peace of mind, he's an okay doctor. But if you're in pain, you're better off somewhere else.
Always rushed and doesn't explain anything
Quick and to the point without feeling rushed
My appointment at SOS was impressive. XRays were taken ASAP before seeing the dr. After looking them over Dr Fitzgerald examined my arm asked me some questions and recommended a course of action. He was very efficient and very nice. He also recommended a wrist brace aside from my arm brace for my tendinitis which previous doctors did not. Am looking forward to the therapy.
Excellent doctor. Took the time to explain everything and all options. Got me in the next day for surgery for my broken wrist
very pleased with experience with Dr Fitzgerald. Broke my right arm at the elbow. Had surgery within a week and 6 weeks later am function almost normal. Doctor and staff at both the office and surgical center were excellent. overall they made a bad situation quite bearable.thank you all!
Dr. Fitzgerald listens to you and you never feel like he is in a rush to get to the next patient. He is very professional and friendly.
