List of Norma Cooney's Reviews
My 19 yr old college student had to go to the ER alone. After waiting for over 3 hours, Dr. Cooney spent less than 5 minutes with him before she told him she had “more critical patients” and walked out while He was explaining his condition. The hospital drew blood but she claimed that no blood work was ordered. And when he went back 24 hours later, she didn’t remember any of his situation and left the room to “pull his chart” and never returned. He had to go to another hospital where he was treated for MRSA. I would give 0 stars if possible.
Horrible!! Lacks compassion. Not qualified to work in emergency department.flat out lied. very unattentive.

Absolutely terrible response (medically and emotionally)to a pediatric patient and parents. Did you skip the class in your med school that discusses how terrified parents get in the ER if they believe their children are in serious danger? Did you skip the class that says you shouldn’t talk negatively about a parent’s stress response in front of their child? Or were you just tired and stressed out? Perhaps try to take another class that will help you learn to communicate and de-escalate a situation. Really, you should probably just stick to spa medicine and leave diagnostics and emergency treatment to docs that have compassion. Absolutely disgusting.
If I could give her less stars I would. Her treatment of a pediatric patient was unprofessional and dismissive. Not only that her lack of empathy and understanding of a scared and stressed out parent was absolutely unacceptable. She should stick to spa medicine because she sucks at diagnostics and emergency services!
Absolutely disgraceful- one of the worst displays of medical incompetence I’ve heard in a long time. Some free advice:At no time should you dismiss a parent who is concerned for their child. At no time should you not understand the frustration of a parent that is looking at their pediatric child who has serious and verified symptoms. At no time is it acceptable to dismiss concerns and lie about symptoms. Absolutely never should you speak bad about a parent in front of their child. If you can’t follow these simple guidelines then you should just get out of the medical field completely. Bullying and belittling is never the answer and you should be ashamed of yourself. How is anyone supposed to have faith in your medical evaluation if you don’t communicate what is going on for hours, get an attitude and get caught lying?
Horrible bedside manner...very dismissive ..I ask if I'm not better should I keep coming back ,she shrugged her shoulders and walked out of room
Saw a friend of mine today at GGH-Diagnosed her with Broncitis and wouldn't give her an anti-biotic. Just said she'd be better in 3-4 MONTHS!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
