At SOS my experience was great, quick and courtesy check in, nurse was very helpful and knowledgeable, Dr Hook did a awesome job and very helpful
Dr. Hook was very attentive and skilled. I appreciate her pleasant manner and professional expertise.
I was seen by Dr. Hook for a simple ingrown toenail but she treated me with the care practiced over 18 years. I have extremely sensitive feet due to neuropathy but I barely felt anything.
Dr. Stephanie Hook is an outstanding, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable provider!
Terrible experience with Dr Hook. Her specialty is delaying treatment, deferring appointments, and requiring expensive unnecessary testing. SO GLAD I GOT A SECOND OPINION!! Don’t waste your time (probably like 6 months of your time and thousands of dollars to not even get effective treatment). After waiting 3 months to even get an appointment I then I got a completely unnecessary MRI, and unnecessary injection that only made my scenario worse and then she refused to see me for 4 weeks after even though I called multiple times to let her know it was worse and definitely 0 improvement. Beware if you need surgery she only does it once a month so be prepared to once again WAIT

She is the best foot doctor in the Syracuse area, bar none.
If ever referred to “Dr”. Hook, for your own health, find another doctor.
Never done this before was terrified. It was a walk in the park. Very understanding and gentle

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
