List of Dr. Anne Maitland Md's Reviews
Despite her knowledge of this rare disorder and official diagnosis of what I already knew, I did not gain much needed help I was looking for. My allergist already put me on the initial protocol of H1 & H2 meds to help ease some symptoms. The wait time in the office and increased in fees for "extra time" was not warranted when it was the Dr. who was late and barely spent any time with me on how to begin healing.
HORRIBLE!! Worse place I have ever been- worse experience- horrible everything- dirty /musty/ blinds broken / ceiling lights broken / flickering / dark / staff and doctors rude / obnoxious/ waited in office/ then room For over 5 hours the both times I went - Was told “I Should be lucky I got into her office” cocky belittled / unprofessional/ unprofessional chattering/ disregarded / very very VERY UPSETTING- DISAPPOINTED- GOOD LUCK
The playing field has changed with new rules which Dr. Maitland failed to tell her patients. She has shifted her focus to a selected group now with Covid. Good for those who she cares about, but majority of her existing patients suffer. Over the past 6 months, she has missed every one of my appointments. The telemedicine ones … no one calls to cancel the appointment as hours go by….phone call to her operator kindly answered but little help. Her PA is more knowledgeable than she is on health issues. However, he cannot do anything without her approval…which means a prescription can take upwards to a month to finally get called in. The doc should stop making excuses and just suspend her practice until she has figured out how to manage her current office patients with her new responsibilities at the hospital and with COvid. She needs to freely and responsibly tell her patients she is referring their cases to another doctor picking up her office work until she gets a better handle on her time management or chooses what she wants to on.
Dr. Maitland is by far the best physician I have ever had. She is as smart as they come. She puts 110% into treating her patients, most of which are extremely complex, requiring a lot of time & attention. I am so grateful to find her & have her as one of my treating physicians. She goes above & beyond for her patients & takes the extra step by contacting my other physicians to coordinate treatments with them.
Dr. Maitland is by far the most caring & thorough physician I ever had. I’m so grateful & appreciative to have her as one of my treating physicians. She’s as smart as they come. No problem is too small or complex for her to handle & address.
I was charged $2350 (including $450 for "psychotherapy") for an initial appointment. She and another doctor handed out diagnosis after diagnosis, each with a big smile. They had not read the 17 pages of paperwork they required me to complete and did not ask any questions about my symptoms or what had worked. There was nothing they could recommend except tests for even more diagnoses and buying supplements from their store. I am in shock. I feel robbed. They took the money out 1 hour after the appointment, so there was nothing I could do.
Dr. Maitland and her office staff are great. A few family members all with extremely complicated medical histories had appointments with her today, We were greeted with a friendly hello, started on time, thorough and thoughtful review of each patient by one of the smartest, most capable professionals we have seen across the best institutions in the US. She is relentless in solving our issues and is there when we need her.. at 3 AM, on weekends and when we were in the hospital in another state! I referred many complex patients to her and she has made a huge difference in their lives also. I would discount the notion of "scattered" by some as I know she is always thinking to make sure all basis are covered and no stone is left unturned as she endeavors to improve your health. Her medical care warrants any wait or distance traveled. We are blessed to have her as our physician. Her staff has always been considerate and accommodating to all of us.
I am not likely to refer anyone to Dr. Maitland which is unfortunate because she is a smart knowledgeable doctor. Her office is so mismanaged, there is constant employee turnover, and the doctor is a scatterbrain. I really wanted to remain as a patient, but it was more of a headache in the end.
Most disorganized office that I've ever been too. The office is mismanaged and it is micro-managed by the doctor. Maybe that's why she can't keep any staff. I won't waste time talking about all of the appointment errors, medication mix ups and diagnosis confusion. It's too bad because she's is a very smart doctor.
Dr. M is an amazing doctor ! She is very compassionate , dedicated and brilliant . She truly cares about her patients and goes above and beyond. She was totally worth the wait . I highly recommend her for anyone dealing with allergies or mast cell issues. She has truly made a differences / life change with my health and I owe it all to her .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
