Our now 14 month old child has been seeing Dr. Schlussel since was 2 weeks old. Dr. Schlussel, provides the most compassionate care to his patients, just what every first time parent needs. Dr. Schlussel always listened to our concerns for our child at each of our office visits and we would leave more comfortable and educated. Even though he is an amazing surgeon he would provide other non invasive options even before suggesting surgery. As parents we never felt pressured to have something done for our child that we weren’t comfortable with. We could not stress enough how great of a physician Dr. Schlussel is! Thank you again for your wonderful work for our child!

Dr. Schlussel performed double hernia surgery on our 48 week old son, who was born premature. The whole experience was smooth, professional, quick and successful. Not sure they make a better guy for this kind of job. Its a very scary situation anytime surgery and babies are combined but he definitely made it as painless as it could be on my wife and I.

I don't even know where to start. Dr. Schlussel did two surgeries on me. He is the most kind, compassionate, caring doctor I have ever been to. I would not trust anyone else to do any type of surgery on me!

Dr. Schlussel.... Where should I st art? My son had hydrocile correction done by him. I'd highly recommend him! His professionalism gave me peice of mind! He's very patient explains the situation and answers your questions... Very good bedside manners as it is called... Even though my son was discharged that day.... Thank g-d My sons recovery was very quick

He's knowledgable of what he does but as far as bed side manner goes he needs a couple of classes on that. He basically did a procedure on my 20 month old and stood in the room with us for 2 whole minutes. I actually had to get the nurse to go get him so I can ask him some questions and he wasn't too happy with that. I understand Dr's are busy with other patients but you should at least take time out and ask if there are any other questions. Will not be using him again.
