Don't go to MVHS Pulmonary & Critical Care Group in Utica if you can't breathe with a mask on. 80 yrs old, COPD, 1 1/2 lungs, on oxygen 24/7...can't walk 5' on humid days without stopping to rest and catch her breath. MVHS PULMONARY & CRITICAL CARE at 35 Riverside Dr in Utica REFUSED to see her for a checkup because she would not put a MASK ON. A patient with SEVERE BREATHING PROBLEMS and her lung care specialists insist she wears a mask that RESTRICTS HER BREATHING even more. A very poor human & professional response.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Most unprofessional encounter I've had in years. Waited 3 hours only to find out that my mother (92 years old) could not have an xray because they failed to ask any questions about her physical status during the intake processes, and they did not have a hoyer lift. They should have recommended a portable xray be done at her place of residence. I am almost positive our problem was not unique to them. And when I made the suggestion that they ask people in the future, if they might need any type of accommodations, they didn't seem to understand. We never knew of a portable xray because we don't get them everyday; whereas they administer them every day. New hospital Donors and Patients, Beware!!

because the quality of care you get depends on the shift is working so far I have had 4 ncidents with the staff that should not happen also if a shame when you receive better treatment from a traveling nurse then a st Luke's staff member they need to get better people

St. Luke's emergency room is a nightmare! Unless you just have a runny nose, the wait times for true emergencies are 4+ hours! (if you are lucky) Someone needs to look into this!
