The doctors are very caring & knowledgeable.

I 1st went to Dr Cheron 2 years ago when 2 other Dr’s did nothing to help me. She spent approximately 1 hour with me. She was able to help me. I lost 70 lbs and if it wasn’t for Dr Cheron I wouldn’t have gotten better health. Th only thing that I wish wouldn’t happen is she is retiring at the end of the year. She will be sadly missed

The doctors are very good and very thorough. They will take as much time with you as you want to discuss your health issues and questions. Unfortunately, I cannot say as much for the office staff. They are very impersonal and incompetent. You can never talk to a real person and no one every returns your phone calls. They also do not do what they say they are going to do. I changed doctors because of this. It was so frustrating.

I guess it's no surprise for MD's around here. NO CARE AT ALL FOR THEIR PATIENTS' TIME , only about packing as many in as possible in a day to boost their income. And try to get this SOB to send a refill prescription... NEVER on time for when I need it.

I was referred to Dr. Perez-Cheron for treatment of osteoporosis. I found her to be very thorough but her office Is not well-run. I was told to call back to get the results of my test and to find out if my insurance plan approved the treatment plan. It’s hard to reach a real person and messages go unanswered. I’ve been waiting 48 hours for a response and still don’t have one.

Plan on a 3 hour wait

I as a patient am very difficult takes a lot to convince me to take any medications etc. I have been going to Dr Perez-Cheron for over 2 years Very helpful friendly staff. Test after tests I am now taking medication for my thyroid they were not in any rush to just make the decision of putting me on medication or treatment without closely testing me many discussions in which a patient always needs to have that communication I am very confident about the outcome

My name is mary u.....from utica...a patient of dr margarita for about 20 years ......THE BEST!! yes. The wait may be long but bring a book ....the excellent endocronologist not only listens and answers all my questions and does thorough testing, she gives choices for medical treatment. .......i have sat talking to her for well over an hour......while she goes over my test results etc. ..... I would give her a fifty star rating if i could....excellent care, compassion, knowledge !

Very bad experience. She got my radioactive dose wrong but gave it to me anyway. In stead of modifying my thyroid, she completely knocked it out. Now I'm having difficulty regulating with medication. She comes across as a real airhead.

Same experience as Jul 18 post. I was ecstatic. She listened, cared & told me she could help after so many couldn't. Turns out she was wrong, & often. Waiting room times got longer & time spent w/me shorter. When she was wrong, she shrugged her shoulders. Eventually, calls get returned months later, if at all. Then, try switching doc & u’ll be told they don’t take each other’s patients. So, I can’t get the help I need from her and yet, I can’t switch. Sadly, she often gets things very confused
