List of Franklin Hospital's Reviews
I want to thank an outstanding employee, Dawn from Radiologyat Northwell in Valley Stream. ,I was at my wits end. I was admitted to Northwell two days after being released from Jamaica Hospital, on an emergency basis in November.I am having surgery at the New York Eye and Ear infirmary and In order to avoid additional cat scans, I was asked to see if I could get copies of the cat scans that were taken at Northwell.I tried a few number before reaching patient records in Radiology and DawnI will be having surgery on my vocal cord and talking is difficult.Dawn told me I was going to have to come down to pick up the discs.Since being released from the hospitals I have traveled from queens, Long island and Manhattan to see doctors.I was going to arranging for car service to bring me to the hospital to pick up the discs when I believe Dawn must have sensed the frustration and exhaustion in my voice. She said wait, let me look this up and like my Guardian Angel, She arranged to have the discs of the cat scans sent to the surgeon.I am eternally grateful to Dawn for her act of compassion and kindness.Thank you Dawn, I believe what you give in kindness comes back to you when you need it the most.I also want to thank Nothwell for your exceptional doctors and staff who really care about the patients and go the extra mile to help them. Everyone was wonderful and very caring during my stay in 2C.Please give Dawn a copy of this so she knows how much I appreciated her help and act of kindness.RegardsCarol D.
I had surgery there and the surgeons and dr. Klonsky were all great everything was great until after my surgery. The people in the administration there are so dysfunctional and disorganized it is ridiculous. I had not eaten in 27 hours and they sent me to my room after my surgery with no thing to eat they ended up bringing me a little sandwich the bread was rock hard and the lettuce and meat that was on it was soggy and disgusting I was so hungry that I ate it anyway and they told me they had nothing else and that I could order food but everything was closed since it was almost 11 at night and they expected me to stay overnight absolutely starving and in am in pain then since I left the hospital for some reason they decided not to send my prescription to the pharmacy so now about 20 hours after my surgery I have no pain medication and I am sitting here in immense pain. The entire Administration there is so dysfunctional it makes the entire experience unpleasant I'm happy I was able to get my hernia fixed and my surgery went well but I will never go back to this Hospital. I am in immense pain and they did not even bother to send over my prescription after I had open inguinal hernia surgery.. honestly what they are doing is just downright cruel
my father had an open wound that was bleeding continuously and it’s been almost 3 hours and they didn’t do anything . we called the nurses station like the front desk told us to. when we did they told us to “call the patient “
The doctors and most nurses are helpful and knowledgeable. But the front desk to check in to visit a patient are rude. This environment in the hospital should be handled with care and sensitivity. Even the valley parking employees outside are nicer than the people inside.
I came in yesterday for a total knee replacement. The quality of care I have received is outstanding. Everyone from the Dr's to the nurses made me feel like I was staying at a 5 star hotel. Sheena Rajan Rn was absolutely amazing along with everyone else. I honestly can not give enough praise to the hospital and it's team.
This place is ghetto and unprofessional. Took my kid in for a allergy attack and all he did was wait. The ER is a joke. Never again am I coming to this location, all I did was wait and wait and wait but they made sure they billed me right away. Simple task is so complicated. Just go out your way to another location. Some of the staff was actually nice but my overall experience was just terrible on multiple occasions.
I had shoulder replacement surgery June 30, 2021 and the care was outstanding. The Orthopedic service has only private rooms and the was recently totally renovated.
Went in for heat stroke symptoms. Took 8 hours to get in and out. Literally only blood work, 1 iv bag. Got a bill for a $1800 copay and $400 physician fee AFTER they were paid by my in network insurance AND they emptied my Hra account! They never even sent the prescription to my pharmacy they said they would. If you want to be overcharged, waste your time and STILL be sick after this is the hospital for you.
Good morning everyoneIf you are sick do not stay at Long Island Jewish emergency room The doctors kill my cousin they overdose her with medicine And they think they can get away with it whatever you guys do do not go here they will kill you before you know it today I am here planning my cousins funeral she was a 32-year-old woman with a five-year-old son she went in to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream in perfect condition walking condition talking condition texting us calling us video chatting usThey keep on giving her oxygen oxygen higher dose of oxygen they were killing her instead of making her better pray for me and my family I would not lie to you guys believe me when I tell you I know the truth The doctors that work there they are killers do not trust them do not leave your family alone if your family telling you please get me out of here please take that time and remove them

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
