List of Henda Bouali's Reviews
I am very pleased with UHS rheumatologist Dr Boulia is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. She takes the time to review you medical records and Labs. She goes over things with you and comes up with a plan to help you.I feel confident in her ability as a Rheumatologist.
Horrible doctor I haven’t met one so awful as her. She doesn’t let u talk or say anything she interrupts you and treated me with no respect or decency. She did not explain her reasoning or the test results I just went for a second opinion at Lourdes and this doctor was so much better and helped me by explaining everything. Don’t go to this doctor if you want to be treated with respect.
Terrible bedside manner, dismissive and bad mouths other providers. She misdiagnosed me and refused to listen to or work with me. Stay far away; useless.
My primary wanted me to see her for RA. After months of waiting for my appointment I finally see her and she blew off everything. My joints weren't swollen at time of visit therefore I do not have RA or any autoimmune disease my blood work gave my a false positive. She told me all of my issues were due to my weight and depression. Even though I am happier now than ever before and have lost 73lbs. She was condescending and rude. It is hard enough to get to the doctors but when they blow you off like she did it makes you not trust or want any doctor. On a side note if I was depressed after the way she made me feel yesterday I would have been in a much worse place than I was. Thankfully I have a loving husband and a fantastic granddaughter at home to lift me up.
I have seen Dr Bouali for over 7 years! Not only would I recommend her to anyone, but I would be sad if I didn't to have to see her anymore! I was diagnosed with vasculitis and she was the ONLY doctor who would take me on! Her staff is wonderfully pleasant and everyone at her office is friendly and knowledgable! She ALWAYS makes sure all my questions are answered and finds time to squeeze me in whenever I need to be seen, Thank you Dr Bouali and your entire staff!
I just completed a telecon with Dr. Bouali. Although I had never spoken with her before, It was clear to me that she was up to date with my case and gave me medical info which had not been disclosed to before by other medical personnel. Her interpersonal manner was relaxed and warm. I look forward to meeting her in person. Gloria Thompson
This doctor, while competent in many respects, feels that fibromalaiga is a fake disease and becomes annoyed when questioned about it. She will stop seeing you on a regular basis at any time without discussion. The way you will find out is when you try to make a followup appointment. She will not tell you during an office visit.
Dr. Bouali is wonderful at explaining conditions and describing what the patient plan will be. She's sympathetic and helpful. I never feel rushed. I would recommend her highly.
I use to see dr Graham who I absolutely loved. He moved and I passed on to dr bouali. She was a wonderful dr and I always felt comfortable with her. I started out started out seeing dr bouali but ended up being lassed on to nurse practitioners, different ones who do not know my situation. I started to feel like I was just another patient. I kept expressing that I am still having flare ups.and that the humira is not working but nobody was listening to me. I was then sent for blood work and was told by the rude nurse Alison who handles calling patients back that it did not show inflammation. So I told Alison well that's wrong because here I am with two swollen knees. So after back and forth they prescribed me prednisone. Once I finished my prednisone my inflammation came back and again I told them the humira isn't working. So they finally got me in to see nurse colette. While I saw colette dr bouali came in and helped with the process of changing my meds. My meds were changed to enbrel. It has been over 6 months and they are not working. I was asked to come in 3-4 times 1 month, twice in one week because I called stating that I have a flare up and my meds are not working. I felt the reason they did this was because they did not believe me. So I had to take time off from work again to come see them to only have them tell me oh your fine, take steroids, and keep with the enbrel. They sent me for xrays which show that I have osteoporosis on my left knee and they did not seem bothered at all...I am not even being treated for osteoporosis....I keep having these painful flare ups and nothing I mean nothing is getting done and Alison always makes me feel like whenever I call that I am lying about my condition. I have spoken to another nurse about this and they said to tell the front desk that I would prefer if someone else calls me back, which I have, but Alison always ends up calling me back. I actually have a flare up today and I called because I took my enbrel on thursday and it's not helping ...she called me back asking me when did i finish my last script of prednisone... I told her i dont remember she then says well it looks like it was last month, ok so last month I finished. She then said what are my symptoms up swelling....the questions shes asks are so redundant and I feel like they treat me as if I'm lying and if I'm pill seeking which remind you I am only on enbrel and occasionally prednisone...I have never been given anything to help with my pain ..I manage my pain on my own. I have suffered from RA since i was 3 years old i am 35 years old. I am currently getting a referral to see another rheumatologist because of how unhappy and uncomfortable this office makes me feel. This is terrible practice and something should get done especially since binghamton does not have many options to chose from.
I've been very pleased with this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
