List of Mohan D. Dhillon's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Dhillon for over 10 years and have nothing to say but excellent comments. I have never experienced anything like the other reviews stated. Dr Dhillon and Alyssa Strojny truly care about their patients and give them excellent attention any time I have been in the office. Appointments always run right on time and I always left there feeling very well taken care of. They all have our best interest in mind. I highly recommend their office.
I have been a patient of Dr Dhillon’s for many years. I read the other reviews and I have NEVER had any experiences at his office like the others have described. His appointments have ALWAYS been on time. I have NEVER had to wait to see him for more than when my appointment was scheduled for. I find him and his assistant to be very knowledgeable about allergies and asthma. I was tested for allergies and have been getting the allergy shots. They work excellent for me. Allergy shots do not always work for everyone but I am so happy they work for me because my allergies were very bad. My asthma is better controlled since going to his office. Instead of being on two meds for my asthma, I am down to one due to his expertise in this area. I am extremely happy with the knowledge and service I receive at this office from ALL employees. They treat me with respect and I feel better since I have been going there. I highly recommend his office!
He was a half hour late for my appt. because at the time of my appt. he walked into a room with a pharmaceutical salesman. During the appt. he asked questions which had nothing to do with allergies. His secretary also was gossiping so much with another worker she couldn't even answer my paperwork question. To top all the unprofessionalism off, he charged me 800 dollars for the one visit, my insurance wouldn't cover it all. I got stuck with the rest. Avoid!!!
First the secretary gossipped so much to a worker there that she couldnt answer my questions I had about the paperwork. When it was time for my appointment at 1230 Dr. Dhillon went into a room with a pharmaceutical salesman and came out a half hour later so he was a half hour late for my appointment. Then he talks in his fake voice asking me the stupidest questions than have nothing to do with allergies and charges me 800 bucks. My insurance paid for some I got stuck with the rest. Avoid
Its been quite a few years but I remember him to be very good.
Dr. Dhillon and his staff are wonderful I had been to other allergists in area who would not listen or try to get to the cause of my allergies. Dr. Dhillon listened to my symptoms and gave me a treatment plan based on my symptoms some were not prescription medication but rather changes in lotion soap.
Very businesslike, yet polite and personal. Probed for symptoms and ran skin tests. My case is pretty basic (runny nose and PND but nonetheless, aggravating) in that the skin tests led to what I have to believe was an easy diagnosis of four environmental allergens. Answered all of my questions. Will follow up in a month.
Dr. Dhillon seems like one of those allergists who make their jobs simple by using a very narrow definition of allergy and limiting their practice to people with obvious, classical allergy symptoms. I have suffered severely from allergies for decades, but mostly not with the classical symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, etc.. Mostly, allergies make me feel sick, my head gets fuzzy, I'm less alert and I don't think well. I've had many positive allergy skin tests (intradermal testing), but Dr. Dhillon dismissed that as meaningless. He seemed skeptical that I actually had allergies. I've had difficulty tolerating allergy shots - they make me feel hazy and sick, sometimes for days. So Dr. Dhillon told me he wouldn't treat me. He said my symptoms were too unusual for him. He also presented me with a weird theory that I haven't heard from any other allergist: he said that my reactions were because of IgG antibodies, therefore since allergy shots increase IgG antibodies, allergy shots would make my reactions worse! I told him that actually, my allergies have gotten better since I've been getting allergy shots, and that I gradually build up tolerance to the allergy shots. But that seemed to make no difference to him. The other allergists I've seen have told me it's unknown why allergies and allergy shots sometimes make people feel sick and fuzzy-headed and less alert - so this may be just his personal speculation. Not helpful!
What a horrible experience I had here the Doctor doesnt listen at all and does whatever testing he wants. I asked to be tested for metal allergies and this DR test for pollen and and animal dander. This is the type of Doctor that shouldnt be allowed to practice in the USA.
Horrible is all I can say about this Doctor, he should not be practicing if he doesn't want to listen to his patients>

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
